  1. Probably tonight in extra's with Tonkin getting the first win.
  2. I'd keep my eye on Vielma. He shows promise of figuring it out in the box.
  3. Time to relax is over. I was relaxed the first couple of games, not to concerned when the O's swept us. But the relaxation left then and has traveled many miles since.
  4. It's hard to pick a date, as he might not have a chance to save more than another 5 or 6 games this month. I'll go with May 9th.
  5. So much for May out of the pen.
  6. In all fairness to Park, when he showed up this spring he was terrible taking batting practice. But after a week or so he started hitting, and hitting it hard. Hopefully the regular season will follow suit.
  7. Bat Mauer 2nd and he grounds into a double play. Sometimes nothing seems to go right.
  8. I wasn't going to watch any more games til they won one, but had to tune in yesterday to see how Nolasco would do. It was worth it..........til he got lifted. Actually flipped the channel when Perkins came in, but flipping back and forth I did witness the blow. Not sure what to do today.
  9. What's the odds of losing 7 straight? 50-50
  10. My first thought there was throw him a breaking ball, but nope. He grooved 0-2 pitches last year too instead of going fishing.
  11. So much for out back end bullpen.
  12. Not yet. Better question today might be: Did we get a hit yet?
  13. With an 0-5 start and another game against the World Champs today the pressure is mounting on management. You can't spot the rest of the division that kind of start and expect to get near 81 wins. It wouldn't surprised me at all to see some very uncharacteristic moves and soon. TR's been very high on Kepler all off season, so no surprise he gets the first call. However I can see someone being removed from the 40 man, and Beresford being called up. Buxton and Sano both will be sent down sometime and Buxton probably very soon. The Arcia trial should last another month to see what's there. But he's got to get off the bench. It'll be interesting to see just what is going to shake out, and TD'ers will have much to debate the first couple of months.
  14. At least it was good to see Park go deep and get that one outta the way. I left the room when Jepsen came in only to go back and see we're down a run. I was so hoping it was Mays there in that spot. I think I'll give up watching until they win a game, and do something else.....like shoveling snow...maybe.
  15. Jeff Smith's got himself a very nice starting rotation there. It shouldn't take a lot of runs to win plenty of ball games this season.
  16. Sano doesn't want to play right field. Not sure you'll see a lot of improvement there.
  17. Dozier hasn't learned to use the whole field, and it's hurting us badly. Way to many chances to score and we come up empty. That has to change.
  18. It's over, done with. And we're dead last. So much for the 3 game season. Now on to the next season.
  19. Sano's slide into 2nd base had me worried. My ankle would have been twisted or broken on that. I see them take sliding drills in SP, but on the outfield grass, not the basepaths.
  20. I get to watch baseball, and see the snow fall out the window. I really hope Bert took the day off.
  21. You are right on the money there! Stewart just doesn't seem to like people.
  22. After thinking about it, you're probably right with Suzuki. Santana could have hit for Suzuki or even Buxton with the hot bat he's had lately, and stepped right into centerfield. My gut was telling me no Perkins. Had it gone extra's, it would have been very interesting with the pitchers. There's no ties in regular season.
