    Julien did well agaist Houston and stunk against Toronto. If you are going ignore reality and think Julien is just having a temporay yip, your comments are wishful thinking foolish. His bat is equivalent to Margo pinch hitting.

    Last year, outside of Farmer, Martin was the only glove that was decent at 2nd base; this year if they do not play Martin there, maybe Lee, but he was Good at 3rd. Julien should not even be on the 40 man; Eeles it will be interesting if he gets a chance. Infield as of now is a clouded question.

    Now maybe they put him where they have because last season , in more than a few games, the 7-8-9 batters were the ones getting on base , so with him in his position he can drive them in, rather than strand them on base.

    I have come to think there is no aversion, but Baldelli only plays the rookies he wants to play, regardless of being great or nasty, so how good one is does not seem to matter.

    Baldelli's lineup was weird, but I like Miranda at Third Base. What annoys me is what Baldelli says about why he is doing what he is doing. It is like he has a pre-determined idea of how things should be and to hell with reality.

    I do not care what he is, I was telling what he was ,which was at the same time in career BETTER than Martin. Which your 1,200 innings numbers prove.

    Comapring his glove to Gordon: the first year Gordon was a better OF than Martin and above average at SS; the second year, , Gordon was not good at Short Stop, but dead on average in Left Field; the third year, Gordon was not bad any where and very good at 2nd Base. Gordon got the chances so many here pee and moan about but was gone after 2023. Gordon had too many whiffs but in fewer games produced more than Martin, yet he is gone. So all the moaning about - let the boys play and develope is pure bollocks, or in reality, wishful thinking..

    Maybe he can join Kyle Garlick with the Reno, Aces; Garlick had a .773 OPS , with 28 home runs down there.

    You have to reach the situation first, although the Twins practiced their Sept. collapse most of the time when situational hitting may have saved the day.
