  1. They are so far in the future, any predictions are about as accurate as the Minn. Weather System forecasts this year.
  2. It is only February and already the May Whine is pouring.😎
  3. What pedigree has any rookie or quasi-rookie come in with?
  4. Taylor had his second best year as a Major League player with the Twins, bat wise, this dude could repeat as some of the vets they pick-up seem to shine with the Twins for at least one year.
  5. It would mean, the Twins have no one, in AAA or on the Bench who is a competent Short Stop. Twins still see defense as quite improtant and right now, it is hurting.
  6. The only thing that blocks any player, is the player himself, through not being good enough to make the Bigs. Maybe Bader will have a Taylor year and set a career home run record for him.
  7. BE? -- LOL! Twins have no one now who is a competent 2nd baseman, outside of possibly --- Martin.
  8. The Twins are losing game attendance, very important to the Front Office; salary dump would hurt the bottom line even more. They are not doing a salary dump.
  9. If his accuracy improves, greatly, maybe.
  10. I gave you a thumbs of because of what you said of Lewis, but, Julien, while his Strike Out rate jumped from just over 31 percent to just under 34 percent, his walk rate dropped from just under 16 percent to just under 11 percent and his fielding dropped to a point he must have increased the amount of lead in his glove. Julien was not even average with the glove in 2023 and in 2024 he batted at AA level. They cast Gordon aside for less incompetence than that , so it would be foolish to let Julien out of AAA to see if he is consistently bad in the bigs. At that they need truly GOOD 2nd baseman greatly.
  11. A player who has a natural talent at any position , does not have the handi-cap , to over come, of having to learn how to play WELL at which ever postition he is a natural at. Athletic means nothing other than the person was born with a natural physique for doing physical activities. Has zero to do with where he has a born talent , or level of talent, he was born with. A person could be a champion runner, tennis player, wrestler but not have the talent to be even an average baseball player; he may be a great athlete but stink at baseball.
  12. The only two Twins, at this point, worth TRYING at 2nd base are the two I mentioned.
  13. As of now the Twins have 2 players who are not Julien style holes in the defense - Marin to Eeles, no one else.
  14. Some players have natural talent, for a task, some can work their way up, the those with natural talent do not have handicaps to over come. A great athlete -- athlete at what?
  15. DH - more like DK - First Base - lead glove at first, oh my! Moved -- there are a lots of other teams , hope they find the one that will tolerate him and Maybe he will do a Rooker..
  16. Should Byron Buxton Fear the Swing Speed Aging Curve? No.
  17. Julien is a black hole with a glove, and poor pitcher's life saver; time for him to do a Jake Cave, see if he can do better some where else.
  18. The Twins have "back-up" catchers that are worse at catching than Jeffers. A good way to end up battling Chicago for 4th not Cleveland for 1st at the end of the season.
  19. Lewis has shown , so far that he is not GOOD at any thing. He is as sporadic as a newbie rookie. Lee has shown he is GOOD at 3rd base, to not put him there is stupid. All this crystal ball rhetoric here about Lewis can do this, Lewis can do that , is wishful thinking which also seems to be a curse on rookie this site sends out to their chosen rookies. Lee & Lewis
  20. IF the Twins are actively looking at trades, they are looking too improve the team, not to make it a lackadasical bottom dweller.
  21. IF, not likely, if they let Castro go, are there any Utility player that are at least average at the positions they are cast into.
  22. It is not how they hit, it is how they catch and as of now, none are equal to Vazquez or Jeffers.
