  1. I agree the platooning item has become inane but then so has the blaming any one but the players for their failures. It would seem from so many views here that when Baldelli walks in the room and looks at them with his Rasputin eyes they just fall apart, no fault of their own. IF, if Baldelli is now making them practice the basics, maybe there will be a fielding improvement.
  2. France will be a 1st base back-up in the same manner Santana was a back-up for Kirilloff. Not going to happen.
  3. "What Does An Edouard Julien Bounceback Look Like?" One this site a lot of wishful thinking. His glove work is and always has been poor; at first he would be a disaster.
  4. He is pretty much the average Twins infielder brought in from AAA, there has been few even barely average. Put him at third, and see how he does for a few weeks.
  5. Too many lousy fielders are brought up because , for awhile they hit above average, then after awhile, the team has to decide how long a bat over comes a hole in the defense.
  6. Or he will be worse making it a foolish move to begin with. Twins are not AAA as much as some here want them to be.
  7. Lee is good at third, do not jack him around like they have done to so many. Compared to Miranda and Lewis, to not put Lee at 3rd is absurd.
  8. Spring Training , or most likely, first month of regular season, will tell how lacking the Twins infield may, or may not be.
  9. I agree with you but the Twins just trade an out for nothing, most often.
  10. Rooker was and is a horrible fielder, Rooker & Garlick , same year. Page 1 of 2
  11. Lewis , if the pitchers have already found his weak spot, like they have for Julien, he could just as easily end up back in AAA as any other rookie, or quasi-rookie. He hit a few fortunate, bases loaded home runs, which means little in reality. Had they been single run dingers the rose would have never bloomed.
  12. Yep, that magical hidden talent that the Twins cannot seem to find.😄
  13. This would say they did not sign him for his glove.
  14. If France gets First, Miranda was better than lewis at third base, so Lewis will get less playing time.
  15. France had a fractured heel that he stated screwed up his batting.
  16. Last year Lee showed he was actually good at Third Base, where he will be if he is in the Majors; Martin was not bad at Second Base where as Castro and Julien are both pathetic at Second Base.
  17. Good question with not really good choices.
  18. He definitely is not this years version of Santana.
  19. His glove has always been an impediment to twins defense. Roy votes mean nothing; he has done no better than Jake Cave with his bat. His glove is a horrid failure. They let Cave go and should do the same with Julien only not wait so long.
  20. Santana had 594 chances to hit a home run, but had 1251 chanes to possibly screw up (He only did 4 times.) Your numbers do not work..
