  1. Getting hammered based on what? He gave up 4 hits, 2 Ks and no walks, for 2 runs. If that is hammerd then the bar is very, very low.
  2. It will depend on what function as a player the Twins see most valuable whether hitting, fielding, speed afoot etc. Twins will look at all the options next spring, veterans and rookies, and who starts the season in the Majors will have the most of what the Twins want.
  3. Correa is six-four and Miranda is only six-two, but when standing by the plate , Miranda always looks bigger to me.
  4. Probably when he feels like it with his contract.
  5. Palacios at Second Base, the kid will either sink or swim.
  6. I have said that maybe twice in a month, you prefer people insulting Cave and Garlick.
  7. Miranda should replace Cruz and nothing more, he is NOT a good fielder at any position.
  8. A ground out is a ground out it actually makes little difference which pitch, but Twins batters have watched so many first pitches go down the middle of the plate and strike out because they get down 0-2 and have to swing at crap.
  9. It is better to ground out on the second or third or fourth pitch, or fall behind 0-2 and have to swing at crap?
  10. Yeah, Palacios with .156 batting average and the minus 163 Rtot, great if one is a masochist.
  11. How many of Twins past pitchers quit because they blew their arm out, there were dozens of pitchers so name some.
  12. n 8 Minors years, Kepler had 15 errors; in 3 minors years Wallner has 22. Just what is needed a fielder who has trouble getting the ball out of the outfield.
  13. Where are the stats. that prove this was not inevitable , whether they 130 or 100 pitches. If some thing breaks due to inherit weaknes , it will break regardless of time..
  14. Bitters are small bottles of spirits infused with botanicals (herbs and spices) that are used to flavor cocktails.
  15. The hits and runs at the end of the game highlight the weak point of the Twins all season, this was a very sad game.
  16. Hmm, most of the season dudes here peed and moaned about relief pitchers giving up hits and runs, but now some are happy they did; obtuse at best.
  17. Well you can quit belly aching about the no hitter , no hitter, it is gone.
  18. Were there any no hitters during the asinine 7 inning double header BS?
  19. Turn out the lights The party's over They say that all Good things must end Call it a night The party's over And tomorrow starts The same old thing again
  20. ? Too bad Hamiton did not hit it just a little bit harder.?
