    PItchers seem to know Jake Cave is suceptible to outside pitches, as they throw junk out there and he often suckers for it, but then his home run to right yesterday was outside junk.

    That is the problem when a player is used for his bat; Contreras is a very good fielder, B. Hamiton is a very good fielder , Wallner so far has a good bat. (I would put Gordon in the same category as Wallner, you never know when he will brain fade.)

    The Twins lost due to poor fielding by the SS, that Palacios was at SS in a very important game says a lot about whey the Twins have fallen. Rodriguez did a good job pitching and now he is gone, that, says a lot also.

    Next year Cave and MIranda will be in the Twins org. one way or another, but Palacios and Contreras will be at AAA some where.

    Season is not over and I will still watch/follow games to the end but with two errors in this game, the rookies are not getting taught baseball basics it would seem.

    You are right , it was against Ohio St, and they led 31-0 in the second quarter. It was more years back than I thought, but the last time I watched even part of a Gopher game. They did lead Michigan 28-7 at the end of the third quarter in 2003 and still lost. The passing of time has not made me want to watch any more.
