    Molitor babied him , it was written in the Tribune, he felt bad that Sano had to stay in lessor motels, play in lessor ball parks, ride busses when he sent him down. THAT is what Sano needed more often.

    Very true but the four, Combined , played a toatal of 56 games first years in the majors before they showed they belonged there; Miranada and Larnach have played, combined , 215 games and have not shown the total ability they belong in the majors. MIranda's fielding AA level and Larnach's batting average is too close to the Mendoza line. The boys from this article have to prove they can avoid those detriments , when they do, they may be called up. Two of the rookies called up this year showed they should be in , at best , AAA, the Twins cannot afford to be the equivalent of a AAA training ground.

    They are not good enough to move up, yet, if ever. Brunansky was in major league by age 21; Hrbek by age 22; Gaetti and Gagne by age 23, they had the talent to start early, and did. If these Minor league rookies were talented enough for the Bigs, at this point , they would be there.

    I do believe another poster stated up higher , remember thses are pretty much AA games and players, which is a long, long, long way from Big League challenge. IF any one has shown long term superior talent, he would spend a few weeks in Minor Leagues before give a shot at the Bigs, WITHOUT having to replace an injured player.

    In seven years Narvaez has had one year field ing percentage was above average, this is better than Jeffers how? His batting and fielding are both worse than Sanchez, getting him would not be an upgrade in any manner.

    That is only in your mind, stats. do not agree. IN 59 games Jeffers had 5 passed balls and 16 wild pitches and caught 7 of 31 stealing for 18 percent. In 91 games Sanchez had 4 passed balls 27 wild pitches and caught 14 of 36 stealing for for 28 percent In seven years Sanchez stealing percent has been below average 2 years with the Yankees; Jeferes has never been above average in 3 years. The number of stolen base attempts against Jeffers,, 31 vs 36, shows runners werre not afraid of running against Jeffers

    Sanchez is simply a better catcher than Jeffers, keep him and as I said , if not traded let Jeffers show in spring training he is good enough to not be in AAA.

    Ryan Jeffers has shown he belongs in Triple A or another team; keep Sanchez and let Jeffers compete for back-up.

    Do not put much faith in that list but looking at the litst, scanning thereof is a quick way to get a head ache, quick way to find two Twins is start at the bottom where you find Miranda and Gordon; up higher Cave is ranked above Judge, while former Twin Marwin Gonzalez is close to the top at 12.

    The analogy makes no sense, but if you want to compare: In 1994 in 138 Minor league games in A - AA - AAA combined he had 25 errors; as that is just under twice as many games, it would calcualte to a fraction over 12 errors per 70 games.

    Well with Mr. Cruz, when he enters the game , play the song Wild Thing, have him throw a few fast balls over and behnd the batter, then hit one after bouncing it in the dirt, and the Twins would have a new weapon to make opposing batters nervous.?

    Keep Sanchez and if their is no other choice, Jeffers as a back-up.

    Yep in 70 games for Witchta he only had 18 errors at Short Stop, maybe they could trade him with Detroit for Palacios.?
