Fortunately the Twins Org. people in charge do not seem to want to have two AAA teams next summer.

Three Free Agent Fits for Minnesota Twins at First Base
RpR replied to Cody Schoenmann's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
France at First and Clemens at Second, that would make a good infield at First and Second. The Twins lack of run scoring need fielders to stop the game from becoming blow-out after blow-out.- 64 replies

At that , the Twins had some of the best in the oughts, and did not even get to the World Series. One of the few times, I lay major blame on the manager.

Not if you bet red or black, 0 or 00 . Is roulette 50% chance? It’s important to understand roulette wheel odds because roulette is not a 50% winning chance game. The odds of you winning an even-money (‘outside bet’) roulette game that pays out 1:1 is based on how many numbers on a roulette wheel there are. There’s a higher house edge on a double-zero roulette wheel (38 numbers) and a lower house edge on a single-zero roulette wheel (37 numbers). Put simply, if you win an even-money outside bet you’ll double your wager. But depending on the roulette wheel variant you play on; your chance of winning is based on the following probabilities: 48.65% chance of winning an outside bet on single-zero European roulette wheel games. 47.37% chance of winning an outside bet on double-zero American roulette wheel games.

IF they have not developed by the time they are veterans in AAA, the chance of them developing period, is the same as hitting 0 or 00 on a Roulette table. It happens, but is rare, and not worth ruining a team to gamble. Since computer generated stats are so important to some baseball followers, here is a computer generated view of the young boys: AI Overview The failure rate for top 100 baseball prospects is about 30%, as roughly 70% make it to the major leagues. However, this varies significantly by position, with hitters having a higher success rate than pitchers. The definition of "failure" can also vary, with some analyses considering prospects who don't become All-Stars as failures, while others consider any player who doesn't make the majors a failure I would rather have a team with Farmer, Urshela and France, than one with Miranda, Gordon and Julien.

https://www.mlb.com/news/2025-gold-glove-award-winners First base: Ty France, Twins/Blue Jays France, who began the season with the Twins but was traded to the Blue Jays prior to the July 31 Trade Deadline, has won his first career Gold Glove Award after a stellar defensive showing at first base. He is the second first baseman to win the honor in Toronto’s history, joining Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (2022). France led all first basemen with +10 Outs Above Average in 2025.

You do not develop any one into a top line player; they either have the ability or they do not. Coaches in AAA and the Majors are not some miracle potion to make honey out of vinegar. You have to shop to top line athletes, either when they come to the minors or hit the Bigs.

Twins Claim Versatile Ryan Kreidler, Make More Minor Moves
RpR replied to Seth Stohs's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
Kreidler has an OPS of .383 and fielding average of .974; Gasper has an OPS of .445 and fielding average of .982. Try again, but I hope Kreidler is given a good shot.- 69 replies

Hmm, what you said about Clemens sounds a lot like Lewis. Lurch at 1st, heaven help us.
-
Lewis is moving better at 3rd but with his throws to First you still need a very good glove at First., Lee was pretty good at Third, so move Lewis to First and Lee to Third. Lee is just plain not good at SS due to his lack of range. Put Fitzgerald at SS, as he would be better than Lee. s

AT least many TD gents anticipate their boys in AAA to be so FAR, FAR better than the veteran pros, they are poor replacements for. 🤩 Some times it seems some do not care how the Twins do , all they want is their rookie boys to play , regardless of how far below what they are bragged to be, they actually are. All they need it more time to learn, improve, be given a chance. -- The Chambers Bros. spoke the truth about their time: Now the time has come There's no place to run I might get burned up by the sun But I had my fun I've been loved and put aside I've been crushed by a tumbling tide And my soul has been psychedelicized (Time)

It will never happen, but that is some thing I have always wanted to do. Although, when I ride a train, at least before welded rail, the clickety-clack and wobbling car would put me to sleep quickly. I would probably not remember much . 🥸

Arbitrary Thoughts: OF Trevor Larnach
RpR replied to Cody Christie's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
IF - only if they have shown they deserve to be given a shot at the Bigs; hitting AAA pitching is not major league. A fair amount who do well with AAA pitching, are far out classed by Major League pitching, while their gloves seem to be some thing new to them. It is called Major League, not Little League try outs. The so called Prospect ranking system seems to be a list by wishful thinkers but it is a bible to a lot of posters here.
