  1. Two former Twins now have World Series rings.
  2. Go Rangers!
  3. No different from the post I responded to, only , his was an absolute, mine was maybe, maybe not.
  4. Maybe some day, and may be not, as so many former Twins rookies have shown.
  5. Bellinger would be good to have at First Base, but not a replacement for Buxton or Taylor in Center Field.
  6. They have little need to hurry for another fielder. Lewis, Polanco, Kirilloff (maybe) with Jeffers and Vazquez catching is a good infield. Wallner, Taylor (Buxton?) and Kepler is a very good outfield. If they have problems at first bring up Williams who can both play first and catch. Farmer, Castro and Solano make a good bench; another player to replace Stevenson's fielding speed would be nice but not a big thing.
  7. Case Keenum had been with 3 teams in 4 years when he was brought in.
  8. I hope Texas wins.
  9. Change for the sake of change is a fools folly.
  10. As I said it has been too long, but I used to watch his matinee movie very often.
  11. AH, you young'ns don't know the glorius years when the Twins had a rotating group on WTCN; I forget if Mel Jass ever popped in to say hello.
  12. It means he should spend another year in AAA to learn more.
  13. Juline has poor fielding skills, just as his Minor league showed; Lee is worse.
  14. Still better than Verugo without exception.
  15. Lee's defense numbers Minors: Julien's defense in Minors: Julien is not good .968, Lee is worse, .947 & .954
  16. Lee has a worse fielding percentage in the Minors than Julien, at that, he plays Third Base and Short Stop. He may make it out of the Minors eventually but it won't be next year; there is no spot that does not have better options.
  17. Good Grief, If they are Major League ready they will end up in the majors, some day, only when they are ready. The Twins are not a -- school for not ready for Prime Time players. There is no such thing as blocking, not good enough to come up, they won't; the Twins have had enough situations with Rooker, Celestino, Cave, Hicks time. The Twins are not a school for learning.
  18. Kepler's numbers are superior to Verugo's without exception.
  19. Santander is a a hole in the defense; Soto cost far too much and the other two are going nowhere.
  20. How many Minor League games has Martin played in Center Field -- 12 -- with a .971 success rate, below his .974 rate in 46 games at Second Base. He has not shown he is good enough; wishful thinking does not win games.
  21. I hope he comes back and what his pay is, is of Zero concern to me.
  22. IF, a big IF, Sano could field even close to as well as Gallo, he might have lasted one more year.
