    Wallner got a two run home run today, March 13, 2024, so maybe he is getting it together.

    Kirilloffs defense numbers at First Base last year were worse than Sano's worst numbers ever at First Base; they simply probably do not think he is competent enough at First Base so they brought some one in who will be.

    I am getting a bit worried about Kepler and Margot. Kepler has 2 home runs, a single and 5 walks; Margo has 3 singles and he may be a good fielder but not as good as Taylor and Buxton.

    IF he were here, due to his not good , but better than Kirilloff, fielding, he would probably be DH, with occasional stints at 1st base which would mean Kirilloff would be in a world of hurt. Sano has reached the Mendoza line with 3 home runs.

    The Twins coaches seem to think Kirilloff is not good enough at this point so they brought in some who they think is good enough.

    Wallner Gallo I have said Wallner hints at becoming K batter like Gallo; sadly at the same age, 25, in a similar number of At Bats, Gallo had twice as many BB, but nearly 50 percent more Ks, yet Gallo's total at bats were quite superior to Wallner as was his defense. So , actually, we should hope Wallner becomes a Gallo II

    If they are poo in Spring Trainin they will be flushed in regular season; you are rationalizing to excuse poor play or lack of talent.
