    Got the first win today , let's hopefully take the series on Sunday ... Bradley going 4 plus innings , I cringed when we went to the bullpen ... Team effort win games ..

    Good write up about our talented players , as of now it's just hype and nothing has been proven on a MLB field , lately I haven't been impressed with the prospects once they reach the MLB level with this organization , maybe that will change with a different manager and new coaches , I sure hope something changes ... As of the not to forget the rest of the players , I think our organization has kind of given up on a few ... I hope our prospects can have a good year at their minor league levels and get promoted to MLB and keep producing ...

    Well it's been said before during the offseason that our bullpen would lose the game after a strong start from our starters ... Those that stated that I commend you and wish you were running the team ...

    Opening day ... Is there baseball in heaven ??? 2 old guys love baseball , they played baseball in their youth and now that they're old they just talk about baseball ... One friend says to the other old friend , I wonder if there is baseball in heaven , the other replies I dont know , a week later he dies and goes to heaven , he's walking around heaven with the angels and he asks the angels if there is baseball in heaven , the angels reply , tgere is baseball in heaven ,the old guy asks tge angels if he could go back down to earth and tell his friend there is baseball in heaven , the angels replied that they couldn't grant his request but he could go talk with God , he goes and speaks with God and asks his request , God replies that he normally wouldn't allow him to go to earth to see his friend and tell him there is baseball , but God was going to grant him his request but God had a message he wanted the old guy to relay to his friend ... So the old guy goes back to earth and he runs into his excited friend , the friend ask how heaven was and if there is baseball in heaven ... The old friend replies I have good news and I have bad news , the good news is , yes there is baseball in heaven , the bad news your our starting pitcher on Friday night ... Play ball , twins opening day ...

    Its very hard for a fan to make a concerted effort to find a positive ... Bullpen looks shaky ...

    That is a possibility , give him 30 or 40 games and see if his adjustments work out , if not , use an option then to st Paul ... Sad he hasn't measured up to his pedigree but he gave us pleasure in 2023 ...

    Pete and repete all over again , no guts no glory , afraid of DFAing and losing someone on a waiver that is not better than a player that should be on the roster ... Same as always , the better player doesn't always make the roster out of spring training , if I was Tom Pohlad and claiming we will be competitive I would be all over the FO to put the best players on the roster , Outman cost us an injury prone player in Stewart ... DFAing someone this time of year is likely to not be claimed , minimal risk ...

    Its the same every year , twins break spring training with players that have no options that did not earn a roster spot because of it ... Every year they break camp without the best players in the eyes of the fans , as one member posted here today , the organization has more baseball smarts than the average Joe fan ... My average Joe prediction is the twins will finish the season in the high 90's for losses , it's not whether you win or lose , ITS HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME...

    Who in Twins territory STUNK the most this past off season ... The organization , that's who ... The ones that SHRUNK the most are Rocco and falvey, they shrunk so much I can't even see them anymore, YEAH ....

    I'll believe it when I see it if this organization has learned from past mistakes , the owners will never make a competent decision because they just dont have the Knowledge to make baseball decisions ... Opening day is right around the corner , I am excited for the season of baseball , I am excited that we have no place else to go but up ... It's going to take a year or two , but hopefully we can get some game changing players to move the needle , we always would like our team to win more than they lose , but this year is going to be more of the past few seasons of breaking 500 ...

    Panic alarm ... The season is lost , no reason to panic ... The pohlads may be panicking to put fans in the stands with this " we will be competitive prediction " ....

    I wish the writers would stop using the words competitive , a competitive team wins more than 81 games , it's not going to happen for the twins even if they would have a 20 game winning streak , they then would lose 20 in arow ... I look forward to watching our twins during the season , I look forward to improvement in the clutch with runners on 2nd and 3rd and no outs , better defense would be something to be proud of , the offense should be alittle stronger than last year ... Starting pitchers a has depth but how good , they're young

    Looked at the box score and yes wallner is hitting better and again today he got a couple of more hits ... Keaschall has been his usual consistent self .... Lewis is the most disappointing , sure do miss those grand slams ..

    This is such a mess to sort out , has anyone from the organization leaked anything to the media ... Is there a favorite or two to fill the bullpen , is hendriks injured as someone mentioned we could stash him on the injured list ... Altivilla is pitching for Italy , are they monitoring him as he pitches there for a bullpen spot , he pitched 28 innings for White Sox but his walks need to be harnessed ... Topa is not doing himself any favors but most likely will start the year with the twins ... Are they going with the veterans and using minor league options on players that should make the team , Zoll is probably following Falvey's example of constructing a team ... Who has the talent to make this team competitive , start the season with the best options to get the job done ... What a difficult mess shelton has to sort through ... I dont know exactly how to put it except our chance of competing are looking grim ...

    How loyal is Ryan to this organization that gave him his first opportunity in the show , he has worked hard to get where he is at , some work through our coaches but he has also gone elsewhere for a different voice and advise ... Ryan isn't going to sign a team friendly extension with the twins , there is more money in free agency , it's a gamble with 2 years remaining of team control plus the qualifying offer ... I see Ryan as a gambler and going to free agency turning down a qualifying offer ... CBA could twist things around or this seasons deadline could change it as well ...

    I haven't forgotten during falvey and Rocco's run all the players that should have been on the roster , that were DFA'd because they chose the wrong player for the roster on opening day ...

    1 start and Ober is on the hot list , not much pitching is hot i guess ... Topa for sure is off kiltered ... So who is winning so far on the balls and strike challenge calls , players or umpires ... That is something new to baseball this year , now is the time for an article on how it is working ...

    So it's root root root for the home team , if they don't win it's a shame ... With a poorly run organization and probably no better than last year , we can expect results the same but probably worse than last year , they need to clear the platoon players and get everyday players on the roster , 15 games into spring training and they results have been poor ... It would be nice to see players that earned a roster spot get the opportunity and play everyday , I know you are not a Martin fan but they should be looking at Martin to be an everyday outfielder and spelling keaschall at second base ... Give Martin an opportunity and let him run with it or fail with it , he does make contact and hits , speed on the bases , we need that speed if we are going to continue to play like we did after the deadline last year , homeruns are important but getting on base and scoring runs is too , you did like watching arraez get on base and spark the club ... I'm just going to wait and see what else they might add and subtract before spring training is over , if they don't make some changes it's going to be another long season ...

    Just cant see bold predictions coming to fruition ... We have needed multiple players to take that next magical step for sometime , will this be the year or will some of last years core be replaced ... Its not up to me to decide , but dammit if the player deserves or earned a 26 man roster spot , he should be given the spot ... Roden is on a tear and looking like he is earning a spot for example , other prospects are performing well ... So to say we need our core from the past few years need to magically take a step forward is asking alot ... But it's a new year and anything can happen ...

    Spring training the players are here to impress , so far Roden is on a tare , others prospects are holding their own , our veterans haven't ramped up yet in early spring training , offense the other day with 3 hits in the game against Tampa is not what is to be expected for a competitive team ...
