No this story is trying to brace you for the most losses in the history of MLB baseball ... At the deadline we fans expected the team to trade the expiring contracts of coloumbe , Castro , Bader , France and paddack .... I also expected the twins to trade a couple of relievers , one of either Duran or Jax , Stewart was also an option to be traded .... But NOoooo , they tore our hearts out and traded the quality bullpen ... Now , this off season i can see the twins ( even though falvey has said he would like to keep them ) , trade Lopez , Ryan ( most likely request or demand a trade ) and if he is traded so is Lopez because we don't needed him on a rebuild ... If these 2 players get traded , I wouldn't blame Buxton one bit for opting out of his no trade clause to play for Atlanta Braves ... Now with these 3 players gone , Jeffers has value with a higher price tag in arbitration the twins probably would want to shed and I can see them signing Vazquez for his defense and smarts for 3 to 5 million in salary , if that doesn't happen we have pereda and Cardenas as our 2 catchers ... Now where they go , I have no possible idea , I do know that the teams Nelson suggested in these trades might not have the best talent in their system to get the right return ( but falvey may think so because he's great at dumpster diving ) ... If these pitchers and players are traded , please get some better quality prospects and major league ready players in return .... I don't have much faith in this being accomplished as they still haven't a plan in order as stated by falvey ... who cares what the payroll is , just get some talented players that will play some better exciting baseball than what we have witnessed the last 5 years excluding 2023 as they made a playoff appearance and won a few games ... Even the players the team sent to the AFL is kind of a joke , they practically sent players that are not even close to major league ready , I always thought the AFL was the last step before making the major league roster , not with this organization ....

Still alot of game left but 8 unanswered runs , defense hasn't been kind to Toronto tonight , Santander just reminded me of wallner ... Santander better redeem himself in his next at bat ..

I looked up how many times Yankees has been swept in a playoff or world series ... I found dodgers beat them 4 games to zero in 1963 and Cincinnati beart them 4 games to zero in 1976 , both in world series , Still digging on any playoff sweeps.....

You answered your previous question , I was watching the Seattle / Detroit game and tuned into Toronto / Yankees and I don't like what I see ... I looked at box score and saw varland gave up that homer , ouch ...

As most have said , I agree he is dropped from the 40 man roster and non tendered player , he is left handed and throws hard , I can see the FO signing him on a milb contract for depth , that's all he showed in his games with the twins .... If we lose him , no biggie , falvey loves to go dumpster diving ... There is quite a few players that shouldn't be on this team next year , I looked at the 40 man roster the other day and I counted over 10 that shouldn't be in the conversation for the twins in 2026 ..

Find a manager that doesn't use spread sheets during batting and on field practice , teach skills at this level with your eyes ... The organizations direction is unclear at this time , what a crock .... If they have no idea what the direction is from supposedly Falvey's statements which is always the long way around the barn with nothing productive said ... The direction of the team whatever the payroll is , is to take the talent from AAA and transition that talented player at the hardest level and groom that player to be a better talent ( that is where Rocco and his coaches have failed ) ... The organization always seems lost in the direction it should go ... The main reason you play a season of 162 games is to play in the world series , the desire to win is not seen in the falvey / rocco players ... You can't construct a team and hope they win enough games to draw fans to the stadium ... The pretending has to stop , the team needs to be constructed of talented players with the desire to win and be contenders ... Yes catchers have been highly regarded being very capable of being good managers ... Mike Redmond has some experience as a manager with a crappy Florida Marlins team and was let go because of a new front office making changes adding their personal ...

Twins need to get a good catcher that can hit and play solid defense ... Contreras is good , but not available ... There are a couple of good back up catchers that can hit and play defense , white Sox have two very good catchers , falvey needs to get creative and get it done , creative , his words not mine ( another of his phrases is wait and see , im tired of that one because i waited and saw at the deadline how he dismantled the bullpen )...

Misoroski at least didn't walk the lead off hitter , he throws hard but I heard them say he had 30 plus walks in 66 innings ...

Is bichette coming off the IL list soon ... Bader pulls his groin in first game and pinch hits in philles ninth inning and gets a hit , they love him there ...

Toronto is a good team and they have stomped the Yankees ... Gotta believe Toronto has the advantage but Yankees have done it before ...

They are just telling fans what fans want to hear , not what needs to be heard ... They say we are on the right track , I hope it isn't on a track with another train wreck heading straight for us ... Yes our patience is thin and the games are barely watchable , but I catch every game on radio or streaming ... I look forward to next season with a new manager that can instill some life in his players with the proper honing of skills , we can't live on hope that the players will have career years ... Im not having any twins baseball withdrawals and I'm glad our crummy season is over , I also see the team moving on from Lopez and Ryan and I don't blame them if they request a trade , if they request or demand a trade it only shows how poorly run this team has been , if we lose the 2 starting pitchers would buxton follow , I wouldn't blame him either .... I stated in Rocco's 2nd year as manager that I could not play for him or the plan that the falvine wiz kids implemented , the reason I didn't state this in his 1st year as manager was because he didn't have to manage that year because his players had career years , it was our last fun year of Twins consistency ...

Anything is possible if you look outside the box , it's worth a look ...

Seize the opportunity ... One person that didn't seize the opportunity was our past manager, finally getting his walking papers ... Falvey hasn't lived up to giving the fans anything close to a perennial winner .... Owners have no business owning the team and failed to seize an opportunity to sell the team for more than the estimated value of the team , ( with contracts like ohtani , Soto and others it's time to sell because they just can't compete or are not willing to pay free agent money ) ... Seize the moment #2 .... SWR , keaschall , Martin , Clemens , maybe fritzgerald as utility , I kinda thought perrede the catcher was seizing an opportunity and last but not least , lefty funderburk, starting from the allstar game on performed well with just a couple of clunkers ..., no one else really coming to mind except for a couple of AAA players that should have been given a 40 man roster spot to play on the 26 man roster , it couldn't have been worse ..

It's a no brainer , the twins organization needs to win back the fan base , what better way than to hire a loyal twins fans that wants to win ... Thank you , thank you very much ... I'll accept the vacancy to manage the twins to glory , it worked in the movies ....
