    I have this feeling that come September 1st , Wallner will be the position player added to the roster , everyone would prefer E-rod or gonsalves but the twins will want one more look at him before they decide if they want to cut him loose off the 40 man roster …

    It’s disappointing losing the series to the white Sox , hope the twins can prevail and win the last game of the series … it’s also disappointing for whatever reason that the players seem to have lost their fight , the season has been enjoyable but the last ten days or 2 weeks have not … score early and then nothing , that was last year and the year before, now it’s back as this team seems to cave under pressure …

    I never expected the team to contend or be competitive coming out of spring training … what I like about this team is they have more fight in them than past seasons but still lack that killer instinct to be consistent … some of our 2026 players have shown something for the future , there are some players in AAA that could possibly help ( e rod or Gonzales ) on 40 man roster , walker could help but isn’t on the 40 man roster and won’t be until the 2027 is resumed after strike / lockout , he’ll be playing minor league ball until baseball resumes … Culpepper has added some promise , showing more power than Kirby pucketts rookie season , let’s watch him and be happy … the front office didn’t do anything to make this a competitive team , the league of mediocrity has made this a competitive team .

    This team is going nowhere , get a decent start from the starting pitcher ( prielipp ) and play players out of position ( keaschall had a rough game in center ) , this team needs to play clean baseball to win … Twins are a better team than the past but aren’t good enough yet to persuade me to believe they are a capable playoff team … just going to enjoy the remainder of the season win or lose …,

    Prielipp , just happy he is healthy and having some success , maybe next year he can get it all together and have lots of success going 6 or 7 innings … he’s got some tools , it’s just baby steps this year

    Bradley was immaculate for 1 inning and now in the twins record books … offense was nowhere to be found , defense had some misstep blunders . I can’t believe Lewis was given a hit with the A’s whole infield merging on a pop up that dropped between them , that was definitely an error …

    Kreidler is a lot better than any of the fielder than last years Bride , Fitzgerald and gray this year … probably the will give him a contract for next year …

    That double by Williams and the home run by ortez , the pitches were both meatball sliders … Bradley not locating to well , let’s hope he read up on scouting reports …

    I agree with the person that said we need a top executive that can emphasize to the Pohlads that we need a better plan ( a team identity we are lacking ) … We had great pitching for a few years , now with injuries and that 2025 purge of bullpen the pitching isn’t acceptable, offense was terrible the past couple of years but has improved some this season but still inconsistent , defense has been inconsistent but improved as the year went along … we want to be winners , build a team of professional players , other teams have young players that are proving they belong in the MLB , our players look better under Shelton’s tenure but still have some mental lapses on defense and offense …

    With the 3rd pick of the draft and all the hoopla about how good he is , I thought a high A placement was possible , lackey is there now so let’s see how he finishes out the season there … lets hope he does well and moves to AA early next year and late 2027 in AAA and at the major league level … he should be a fast promoted prospect, he should be but one never knows , could have trouble with the curve 😂 ….

    Our twins are our twins , a feisty team at times , but not the consistency one would expect from a professional team … solo home runs happening again , just not enough hits coming before the homers … Month in review since deadline and the twins bullpen acquisitions wasn’t going to be enough to turn this team into a serious threat … get some quality help this off season before the lockout , waiting for prices to drop in February isn’t going to get you much high quality …

    I talked to Jim Rich , he concurs with me that Kody should be the twins mvp and should win a gold glove as a utility player …

    No team has given him a real opportunity since he left Detroit … twins have given him significant playing time since he came over from the Phillies …

    If the twins who have 3 home runs could get anyone on base with bunts , hbp , any kind of hits or walks the twins could be leading this game by a big margin

    Just like we were 1 game over 500 , just not a consistent enough team , better than the past few years , I’m enjoying this season though
