    They rushed Vargas and Santan from AA to the majors. The only thing keeping Sano out the majors this season was TJ surgery and a healthy Buxton very likely would have gotten a cup of coffee.

    So who was the mystery man in the clubhouse who said losing wasn't the worse thing in the world? First thought would be one of the coaches. The second thought is the story was exaggerated at some point. The final thought is what's the big deal?Unless proven that said person truly is okay with losing than having greater life priorities than winning does not seem like a bad thing.

    In the long run or even a weeks run this won't mean jack to the people who are mad with the organizatio. If the Twins decide to give him an inning and the bonus than great if they don't than so be it. If you look at his complete results there's enough missed chances that the rain out shouldn't have made a difference.

    I just hope he's good enough for long enough to garner interest from another team because I don't see him ever being of value long-term for the Twins.

    I'm not sure why the Twins would get heat getting rid of Ron Gardenhire. I can believe the next manager won't sell anymore tickets but I can almost guarantee the only outrage is the team making the wrong hire.

    If the torch had to be passed from Adrian Peterson who would get your vote? Because he's still in the honeymoon period with fans my guess would be Teddy Bridgewater followed by Cordalle Patterson.

    One good series against Detroit who by the way is three K.C. outs away from being two ahead in the standings shouldn't be enough to save his job.

    Sorry, the abysmal post-season record takes away from winning in the regular season. They not only failed to make it out of the LDS five years. They failed to even play in a deciding Game Five.

    If they decide to sign a mediocre starting pitcher please make a it a mediocre starter in the American league. If the story is accurate about Tommy Milone having a dead arm after only 150 innings, I don't see the necessity of keeping him around.

    You can blame Towers and Gibson for that lack of talent. Gibson wanted a more 'gritty' team even if that meant trading away young talent.

    Wishful thinking on my part, but I think the next time Terry Ryan steps down will be for good. I don't think their going to have that Terry Ryan safety net like they did when Billy Smith crashed and burned. That to me would make it more difficult to hire Rob Antony.
