First ten seasons primarily behind the plate. .323/.405/.463/ .873 135+ OPS MVP 3 Batting Titles 3 Gold Gloves 6 All-Star Appearances The next eight to ten years may not look that different.The difference is those are great numbers for a catcher and good numbers for a 1st basemen.

    I'd have much less of a problem with keeping Gardenhire if the Twins hire a new pitching coach from outside the organization.

    I'd personally promote to Rochester before deciding whether to call him up to the big leagues. Trout and Harper both spent time in Triple AAA. The one concern would be rather the organization would consider struggles in Rochester to be a reason not to let Sano play a few weeks with the Twins.

    Heard a few comparisons to Scott Baker in terms of Ks per 9ip. Without seeing his A stuff it's hard for me to tell with Gibson. Also what happens if Anderson isn't back next year? The likely rotation is still going to be at or near the bottom in K's but could a good pitching coach get maximum K value?

    Because he's going to have other offers from warmer climate teams who more importantly are contending teams and not in rebuilding mode like the Twins.

    How is Buxton looking at Ft Myers? I know his average isn't great so is on-base and slugging don't stand out. Still from a distance he's drawing walks, and showing decent extra base power.

    Terry isn't comfortable spending money in free agency so they don't need to tell him not to spend money.

    That entire off-season was a nightmare. They twins lost Garza, Hunter, Santana, and during the season Castillo and got next to nothing of value in return.

    Help me out. So far not so good for Kyle Gibson. The first year coming of TJ surgery some major league growing pains isn't a surprise. What's disappointing for me is who it's been against. I'm not throwing in the towel, but give me some positives from his starts that Gibson can be a Top 3 starter on a playoff contending team.

    At some point you have to see Alberts in the majors, but my gut instinct tells me he's a Triple AAA starting pitcher.

    It's one thing to put more blame on the players, but what the hell is the point of a coach if they don't deserve any of the blame? The Twins stink at everything offensively. They can't get on-base, they don't hit for power, they strikeout too often for a bad on-base team.
