  1. 10 runs. A couple homers. I guess they need to score 20 to be a little less boring.
  2. Maeda had a really up and down type performance. He fell behind 2-0 on a bunch of hitters yet he also had a bunch of swings and misses. Only a couple hard hit balls. 7 complete. Nice effort.
  3. 1-2-3 in the 1st. He's got a good change-up to go with 96 97 mph fastball. We'll see what Twins can do
  4. Chicago looks like they have less than 5000 in attendance. That place looks empty.
  5. I think they're going with Sony 90" Supposedly has the best picture.
  6. Getting his feet rested up. Gabby Gabreski.
  7. Rest your case on what? Castro swinging at a 1st pitch that was out of the strike zone. Mr. Politician. Change that narrative to prove your right.
  8. I do watch the game. A helluva lot closer than you do. Littell threw 1st pitch strikes. The Twins hitters were taking the approach of swinging early in the count. The problem was execution. You named 2 players out of the first 23 hitters who swung at pitches our of the strike zone early in the count. Vasquez and Correa and that justifies your moronic statement. And then to top it off you claim how right you are when Castro connects for a homer on a 1st pitch out of the strike zone golf shot. Duhhh
  9. Littell has thrown strike at almost an 80% clip. 52 out of 66 are strikes. So let's take some pitches so they're down 0-1 or 0-2. Yeah that's good strategy
  10. WE are not even trying to put pressure on the Twins. Our posts are sorely lacking substance. WE can do better.
  11. They were. And if he can't hit "borderline" pitches, he's in trouble
  12. I want to say it was on Julien. The play was right in front of him. I mean if Castro was able to reach 3rd Julien should have been able to make 2nd before the force out. Kind of a tough call. The umpire did signal no catch. But I guess you could say damned if you do, damned if you don't. And you're right. There really wasn't much comment on that play.
  13. A good game by PL. the Twins vs TB coming up. Tampa Bay still playing to win AL East. So it should be a good measuring stick. Unless the Twins think the Central is a wrap and start resting guys.
  14. Similar to Burnes no-hit effort vs Yankees. 0-0 into the 10th
  15. Nah. That's just Dick and one of his Bremergasms
  16. Multiple references to "gophers" today. Is Minnesota plagued by Gophers?
  17. Football on the big screen, baseball on the laptop??? Hmmm.
  18. You've been calling for Stevenson for some time now. He's up. And as far as defense goes, he's a much better defensive option than Gallo is. And a better option on the basepaths as well. So in your scenario 1st base would be the only spot for Gallo to play. Stevensons range is 2nd only to MAT and that's only if Taylor is healthy.
  19. That's a lot! What do you think his role will be if they make the playoffs? Out of the pen exclusively or do you see Rocco polling a Dobnak type move?
