  1. Yes indeed. Not sure who it was. Parfigliano maybe.
  2. Is a dust buster considered a vacuum? I can't see doodely squat cuz it has a solid base.
  3. In the past couple weeks you've used several players whose projected numbers don't match up to actual results. Are these abnormalities? Or do they happen more often? Just the last paragraph alone with 4 different ways of measuring how good he is defensively tells me that it's faulty at best. What were Miranda's projections for 2024? I doubt they were as sterling as his results have been. And based off that wouldn't he be expected to have a huge regression?
  4. You can say that. But that's if you safely know you're going to make the playoffs. It allows them to juggle the rotation. If the Twins are battling to make the playoffs till the last week. That might not be possible. Ober might be pitching game 162 just to get in.
  5. Good luck with that. I'm glad the Twins aren't playing Correa and Lewis and Miranda hurt like they did Kirilloff. Putting him out there in LF and taxing his body. Shameful how they treat some players. And stop slamming that thumbs down button. You're going to break it.
  6. So you know what people's intentions are? I saw that exact same thing and said to my wife that Margot has no intention of trying to move this guy over. 😄
  7. So the philosophy has now switched? Just like that. Larnach and Santana crushed a couple balls that could easily have been homers. But I'm glad the Twins have seen the errors of their past and are fixing them. When I saw Santana steal a base. I KNEW the Phillies were in big trouble.
  8. Ist City connect unis. Now Joe Mauers Plaque. Its a plague. The end of the world as we know it.
  9. I think they're 1-3 after the break.
  10. Julien not in as a defensive replacement
  11. Rangers play in Arlington. Or is Texas city big
  12. Trap tarp terp. We got it. Kinda like Rpr there.
  13. He pitched well last night vs Bosox after a shaky 1st inning. Sign him up! His numbers are similar to Rodons.
  14. I think Edouard has improved. Saying that, I still think his footwork around the bag needs to improve. And I see it all over baseball. Guys double clutching it seems every time. Just throw the damned ball to 1st
  15. The fact that Joe Mauer was inducted into the HOF is call for celebration whether you think he belongs there or not. I liked him but I didn't think he'd go in on the 1st ballot. The fact that he did make it didn't cause my head to explode. I can see the pros and cons from both sides. Molina is going to go in 1st ballot. Better defensive catcher; not nearly the hitter Mauer was. Will that cause fans too seek help from the Cope Harder Foundation? Now that's funny
  16. When Castro plays anywhere other than 2nd hes out of position. When Martin plays anywhere he's out of position. Lee has been up for a few weeks and he's made numerous bad plays. He made a nice stop today and then threw it 20' short of 1st that Santana bailed him out on. The missed bunt. The throw into the Giants dugout. And in case you want to defend the bunt. On that play Santana was crashing in from 1st Lee was kind of caught out but that ball was in the air. Margot comes in as a defensive replacement for Wallner and Larnach. That's not an upgrade. Maybe in years past but not in 2024. Castro too. He has good speed and a good arm but often takes bad routes. And his 1st step is often off. Especially on balls hit straight at him. With Miranda Correa and Lewis out then the Twins have to put guys out of position. They do it even when they've all been healthy. AJ Hinch told Castro that his future as a major leaguer was NOT as a SS. Just because he's versatile does not mean he's good. He's terrible in CF. You can get by with spot starts in LF or at 3rd. SS? No way. There were 2 plays in the last 2 days. Routine grounders that got beat out for hits because Castro stayed back. Correa comes get those balls for outs. Why? Because he's a SS. Castros awareness has come into play several times this year. So yeah. The majority of the players are in their positions. But when they're out and these guys are put into not normal spots it shows up. Defensive metrics don't show how bad they are because errors aren't given for fear of hurting someone's feelings. 100% @USAFChief There have been numerous posts about putting Lewis in LF I've even seen Juliens name mentioned as a potential OF. Whenever theres a player who comes on and does well but really doesn't have a position, the normal call is to just put him here. How hard can it be?
  17. I've been saying it for months. Jeffers was an all-star in April. Since then he's a mirror of Vazquez. Willi Castro plays 1 position pretty good. 2nd base. The other 4 he's average at best. And I've also indicated his hitting with runners on has been pathetic. Not all-star caliber. The kool-aid has already taken over. When you read about Margot and how good he's been since June. Are we watching the same games. On D he looks as if he's NEVER played the OF. Oh and Thielbar has been better of late. Keep running him and Oakhurst out there. They'll get it together. Nope. Bruce Lee is going to be the spark to get the Twins over the top. Nope. Right now he's in over his head and looks lost offensively and on defense. He makes good plays and then throws balls over heads or 20' feet short. Martin. Haha. That arm plays nowhere. But he can play multiple positions. Really? Which ones? I used to move heavy equipment. Big stuff. I can load them and know what all the sticks and pedals do. That doesn't make me an operator. Oh and I'm watching Dodgers Red Sox game. Boston has 3 lefties facing Paxton who kills LH hitters. Duran took him deep the opposite way in the 1st. The Twins playbook would have him on the bench. The Twins lineups are like the weather. Lh lineup, Rh lineup, day games after night game lineup, Getaway day lineup. My mom's here in the crowd lineup. Correa and Buxton need days off lineup. Rocco manages like it's tee ball and everyone plays. I've ranted enough.
