    I think it's better if he never gets impeached. Let this linger for the next 4 years and enrage average Americans. Open their eyes to what is going on with the gop. Then, completely crush this nationalist, white America movement. I hope eventually some will see the light.

    This just keeps getting worse for trump. Conflicting statements, more smoke, more questions, more people interested. If his supporters thought Clinton should be jail... pretty tough to ignore what's going on now.

    Now I feel like a Dick. The items you listed are also problems. Insurance companies will not just curl up and die if single payer happens. However, they will be forced to change. Hospital ceos also wouldn't join the middle class. There will still be plenty of money in health care, even if these people become state employees. I just wish insurance companies acted more like union leaders than corporate cronies. Unless you are a board member, my distaste in directed at you.

    I'm so over insurance companies. They are blood sucking parasites funneling money to get legislation which favors them. How is this so hard to see for people? Our money isn't going to the sick, our money is going to these greedy companies and hospitals. Single payer fixes that. People don't get rich off sick and dying people. The incentive is to help and heal people. I really dislike the"incentive" argument I hear. If you give people basic means of living people will still strive to do better. It is a completely made up argument with no facts or examples.

    This will end up hurting the Republican party. Not even waiting to see the report? They are going to get crushed with this. The public isn't dumb, at least not as dumb as the republicans want them to be. I just talked about health care with a customer today. I told him I was in favor of a universal plan and it would save everyone a bunch of money. He asked if I knew anyone from Canada, and if they liked their coverage. I informed him I know and work with a number of people that are satisfied with their care in Canada. The only people that I know complain haven't experienced health care in the usa.

    Enjoying the game in Arlington from the 20th row behind home plate. Just thought I would check in with the game thread..... Btw, it's as nice here as it looks!

    Missed opportunity I think. He can still win a runoff though. I'd be hesitant to assume all the votes going Republican will all go to Handel. Ossoff will get some of those votes by pure odds. And, will all the same voters show up to vote for her? I'd assume ossoff will hold on to his support, the bigger question is if Handel can accumulate double what she got the first time. I think that might be more difficult than ossoff picking up a couple percentages.

    I hope so! That was my favorite of all the films. I'm excited for the movie. The last 2 have been really well done. I'd even like another spin off like rogue one.

    April is only half over... This team isn't built to win many games. Regardless of the nice start, it takes a lot to be over 500, and I just don't see it happening this year. There are certainly encouraging signs so far.

    To me this bomb is a big deal. Most powerful non nuclear bomb dropped to crush tunnels? I'll be anticipating how great and smart they were for doing this (snark obviously). I don't look at it as bad, just a huge bomb at this point. Let's hear the results of it I guess.

    He has a lot of people interested in what he does. Still good stuff, doesn't get hit hard, doesn't locate the ball well, doesn't miss many bats.... yet still has a good level of success.

    While this health care bill is only one bill, I think it shows the fractures in the gop. The Koch message was pretty clear about financing opponents to those who vote for the bill. The moderates were completely ignored and talked down to. Trump could very well drive wedges deeper into the party than already exist. Meanwhile, democrats are still doing Democrat things. Indivisible is growing and showing up at town halls. We'll see how long the momentum lasts.

    I traveled with a colleague in Texas this week. He claims to be a libertarian... He also claims to be a numbers guy. Then he proceeds to tell me 2 million of the illegal immigrants are committing felonies and the people whom lose coverage under ahca will be covered under expanded Medicaid... When he then said ObamaCare was not negotiated by dems I slipped and said that is an ignorant opinion. Couldn't help myself at that point. Sigh. Also hates Clinton for no reason he could explain.

    Irony. After all the hell they have Clinton for an extremely lengthy and transparent investigation.... they now have a corpse falling out of their closet. Problem is, the same people chanting lock her up won't give and credence to the current investigation.

    The remaining implicated players still have a reason to be upset about the end ruling. Considering the entire process, how it played out, they have would have legitimate reason to believe the university felt compelled to at least punish somebody. To me, that isn't justice. It is still disturbing to me the university feels they can decide criminal matters. If any of those players have money they should take this case up the chain. I would love to see a supreme court ruling limiting university power. While we're at it put a cap on salaries paid.

    I don't think Clinton needs to get out of politics, or die in a hole. She is a good person that has been slandered mercilessly by the right wing. I hope she files lawsuits fighting back, does interviews with news organizations and daytime talk shows, goes to rural conservative areas and begins planting seeds to change the narrative. I think the right would have a lot more difficult time with their narrative if she spent more time relating to people. I think it is imperative for her to improve the perception of her in those areas.

    I am really taken aback why senator Graham is pushing this wiretapping topic so hard. We all know he is no fan of trump, I have to wonder if he has some inside information. If trump wasn't such a ❄ and kept bringing it up.... Also interesting to see what happens with this health care bill. White house seems to be distancing themselves from it now. I hope Ryan crashes and burns with this thing. Pretty much a slap in the face to a majority of Republican voters. Will it wake them up if it passes?

    What is more likely to trump supporters.... he has illicit ties to Russia and has the entire campaign.... or Obama illegally tapped his phone? I'm going to say the majority are more upset at Obama right now.

    I hope he did have his phone tapped... and there was a warrant for doing so. Let's hear those phone conversations! Could be the beginning of the end.
