Even more smoke coming from special council. I do wonder about the legality of these things being leaked right now. Obviously, I'm not on trumps side on any of this, but if these things are supposed to be kept quiet they need to stop the leaks. On the other hand, things are getting significant. One way or another, the American people need to know how much of a scumbag Trump really is. His 20% base will support him no matter what, but the rest of the country might have more common sense the next time.

I do hope we all remember not to group all republicans into his supporters. There are many within the party that are appalled, just too spineless to speak out.

He isn't, but I don't think they have a better option. I was hoping green would be head and shoulders above these guys, but it's tough to know what's going on behind the scenes. I like the pay calling, and can see how a good qb would take this team a long way. Fleck will get some talent I think. The problem with everyone since mason, was identifying talent. That shouldn't be a problem at a power 5 program. Even Wyoming can recruit qbs once on a while.

I heartily disagree on those two issues Mike. But, there are other issues I care much less than others. Climate change and livable wages do happen to be things I care deeply about.

I don't get it either. Brooks is far and away a better back. Smith is a good back, but Brooks is really good. Last year Brooks was hurt so that was understandable. Guess you don't need to get your best guy injured in that kinda game?

Anyone watch the game? Really disappointing and uncreative play calling. There is only so many times you can run the same run play. Also, why pass so much? Smith and Brooks are excellent backs, so go under center and give them a chance once in a while. Both QBs looked below average and for some reason Seth green isn't in the discussion for starter. Based on this game, I'd be surprised if this team is 500 this year. More an indictment against kill and clayes than fleck.

The representative of the Houston area was on CNN today. When asked why he voted against Sandy he gave the same response. The reporter should have had a response ready and pushed back. The problem will be these people will just avoid CNN even more and CNN will be left with only a handful of people willing to come on the show. That in of itself is a tragedy.

The popular response was it was filled with pork that had nothing to do with the recovery. However, that has been shown to be false time and time again. Why don't people see liars for who they are?

Am I the only one that was in the path of totality? Clouds covered the corona so that was a bummer, but everything else was awesome. Had goosebumps the whole time. I never thought about eclipses much, but I might be addicted now.... Not good. Don't see one if you can help it.

Wow. This event, the response by sympathizers, and the spin by Trump... Is honestly worse than I ever imagined. Seriously. This is presidency is worse than I thought it would be. I thought it would be horrible and it's worse. I really hope he goes down as the worst President of my lifetime, not sure what I'd do if we had someone worse than him come about.

Should but won't. Honestly, the racism is being emboldened right now. I flagged a meme today that showed a Muslim man kissing a newborn saying "smells like a new wife." Dead. Serious. People actually laughed at it... I don't have any tolerance for that hate.

That article falls pretty short from being compelling. I don't think anyone is going to be able to justify people in Wyoming being worth more than people in California when it comes to voting for the president. Wyoming already has the advantage with the Senate, and now the electoral college gives them even more voting power. I don't really care which party benefits, it's still wrong. The electoral college needs to change. Maybe not abolished, but definitely changed.

Hasn't this been like every single interview he's ever done? The guy is a complete idiot. There is a reason the gop didn't want him. He is single handedly going to hand the midterms to the dems (with the help of courts and redistricting), and I absolutely expect him to not win the gop bid for 2020... Which actually helps the dems more I think.

You're surprised at this point? It's pretty obvious they can get away with just about anything at this point isn't it? I mean, we hear about these blatantly egregious deaths with no justice.... Imagine the borderline deaths we are not hearing about. While overall violence in the US is in decline, police killings are rising.

I think he took the fall and allowed others to hide with a yes vote. Graham, Heller, Capito.... I'm sure there are more that didn't want this to pass. Joni Ernst had a poll which showed how unpopular the original bill was, and the likelihood of her being re-elected if she voted yes. It wasn't good, and was deleted quickly. The senators on the bubble could definitely suffer from this vote. The donors will still be there, but if their base is paying attention it only takes a few percentages to swing the other way.

538 has done multiple pieces on McCain this year. It is pretty interesting how they broke down his voting record. He does tend to stand on the soap box with Lindsy Graham, but they both seem to vote with the party when needed. This is an exception, a rather big one imo.
