Things just keep getting worse for trump. The new ObamaCare bill is being protected like a nuclear bomb. Supposedly the gop is going to try to push it through without anyone reading it or providing input. Yeah, with something this complex there is no pushing. Constituents want all the benefits of the aca, yet think there is a way to do it without requiring everyone have insurance. Add in that trump clearly is going to cut entitlements, which he promised he wouldn't, and increase military sending (wtf)... Rhetoric is one thing, the real world is actually real life. McCain and Graham had a town hall last night that was excellent. Really respect those two. More republicans will start going to their side I hope.

I was simply surprised he seemed normal. The bar is set so low for him, that people are hyperventilating over him sounding normal. I would have to look back at speeches, but I'm pretty confident in saying it was the worst state of the union in a long time. GW used to give some good speeches occasionally, so it would be interesting to see this one ranked in the last 30 years.

Whoa! I joined the thread late, but don't purge the Hughes hates. If Alexi Castillo I'd the starting 2b.... you have plenty of room to give Hughes abs. Dude was never given a read chance. Might not have done much... but Nishioka was given more than him, and he didn't prove ****.

It's funny. People slam wind turbines for killing birds (not a secret who that is). However, when it comes to football.... all is fair in love of football. I don't really care about 60 birds. Cats kill millions per year (to be fair, I could live without pet cats in this world... dogs too really).

You can't make this up. Fox news had a fake Sweden national security advisor on their program. Sweden claims to have no ties to the guy they had on o riely. You have got to be kidding me fox.

Is it legal for Spicer to commandeer phones and look through them? Doesn't that constitute as personal property and require a warrant? Holy **** I would freak out and sue the **** out of everybody possible. How are the republicans silent about this? This silence is going to destroy that party. I partially feel it is due to not wanting to fracture the party. I can't believe those whom believe in personal freedoms can turn a blind eye to things like this.

I think Pelosi was a huge mistake. Everyday Americans consider her an establishment politician that is paid by non profits and jobless people. Just the way it is. Schumer is at least some new blood and a new face. The elite image is what the gop has been effectively marketing to white America.

I love byto threads! It hasn't been the same here. I rarely care to post about baseball because everyone is so serious here. I might miss the sluts rule posts the most. I think at one point there was even a top 10 porn stars thread. How much better would these forums be with that thread?! (with pictures to judge obviously) -
Collins is voting against Pruitt. Should be a no brainer. Murkowski can't be too far behind.

Now cnn is alleging Trump campaign was in contact with Russia throughout election. This is getting to levels I never thought I'd see in my life. I'm completely embarrassed. What will it take for treason or impeachment? How do we hand the presidency over to someone who directly benefited from the correspondences?

I've joined my local indivisible chapter. The president of the board was on npr this morning and was pretty good. The right things seem to be coming together with indivisible. Hopefully they can stay coalesced and drive the message into the mud terms. This is a chance for the Democratic party to reform itself and push back against the alt right. We'll see. The message against big business, loss of liberty, the constitution, and money in politics resonates with a lot of people. The worst thing progressives could do is alienate blue collar workers even more.

Well i feel better now that players whom weren't in the apartment aren't getting punished. Still, I don't like how everything went down. Seems backwards they had to prove their innocence, but I guess that could be changed with an executive order.

Wow. Turnbull was a big supporter of his coming into this call. He applauded some of the nationalist ideals trump represented. The damage from W was finally overcome I think. Now this.... this is going to be a whole new level of damage.

Spicer just pretty much confirmed trump plans to sell off public land and destroy any area with untapped natural resources. I have a feeling many outdoors people will start flipping out if it happens.

I think everyone would agree there are areas of improvement and efficiency needed. That doesn't mean you just rip it up. There has to be oversight, standardization, consistency, and direction. Yes it can be done better. Much better even. Our education system is bad right Now.

You don't think we were at crises proportions before the Muslim ban? Why else would we have to make merica safer? Or Ivanka finding a house in dc? This isn't the comic book dc, its real life. I have the unfortunate pleasure of many Facebook friends supporting these actions. One even said only detaining 109 people in one day isn't a big deal. We need to make sure these people are safe. I might delete Facebook.

The deafening silence from the majority of the GOP is pretty telling. They are letting Lindsey Graham and John McCain lead the opposition. I can't imagine Rand Paul or other small government proponents are feeling very good about what is taking place. Paul spoke out politically against Trump during the primaries about this. I hope you're right about an amendment coming to limit the power of the executive branch. It's obvious now we need one.
