  1. Glad I'm not an Orioles fan today. I would be pissed off right now.
  2. You could always vote for Deez Nuts.
  3. "Everything is ****ing!" That's what I'm taking away from this season.
  4. Take that you ****ing joke of a ballpark!
  5. Actually Dick, the Steve Bartman situation was exactly like what just happened with Robinson. Had Bartman reached out in the field of play, fan interference would have been called and Bartman would never have become infamous.
  6. If that's a triple, then just get rid of the error stat altogether.
  7. "It's either going to be one run or four." - Me before that last pitch

  10. So what you're saying is that they were all bucking under the stress of trying to finish their taxes.
  11. You can see the whole segment below if you want (it's about sports stadiums in America), but here is the Twins angle. Apparently in 1997, the Twins showed an ad of Marty Cordova visiting a kid being treated for cancer at a hospital in Willmar. And the ad had the tagline "If the Twins leave Minnesota, an 8 year old from Willmar undergoing chemotherapy will never get a visit from Marty Cordova." Two thoughts went through my mind when I heard that. 1. That is a horrible and shameless thing to do. 2. Holy crap, I forgot just how terrible we were in the mid to late '90s, especially when Marty Cordova was the best we could offer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcwJt4bcnXs

  14. Game is not on TV today. I'm sure they have a reason to not air it, but it's upsetting when I'm working from home today and I can't see it.
  15. I've always believed that when you're in a situation where one run ends the game and there's a runner on third, you make sure there is a force on every base.
  16. Why were the runners at first and second moving on that play in the first place? Either the game was going to end or we were going to extras.
  17. Gardy's watching this game at home wondering if he should take out some lotion.
  18. Best part about having Dozier batting second is that when the leadoff hitter gets on base, our guy batting second isn't instinctively looking the p Best part about having Dozier batting second is that when the leadoff hitter gets on base, our guy batting second isn't instinctively looking to bunt.
  19. I'd like to apologize. I watched the entire game up until Mauer's final at bat. Apparently I was the jinx.
  20. I don't know what's more embarrassing, the massive brainfart, or the fact that they gave the batter a hit.
  21. Umm...couldn't Hicks have caught that? I swear it hit around the base of the wall.
