    Gibson gives up 2 after 5 on 68 pitches - which should have been 1 - on a dribbler through the infield, and a dropped ball by the defensive specialist catcher.......... and he gets called out! Gibson says..... "Bite Me!" ..... and I second that for him!

    Watching the Polanco no doubter off the bat double again, coupled with the lollipop throw in from the warning track, I am amazed that Mauer could not score from first .... on a double...... on that play.

    Dozier had at least 10 junk touches between each pitch, with a high of 17 separate touches/adjustments (that was on tv, anyway, so i might have missed some) between a pitch during that first at bat. He is definitely rivaling Nolasco, now.

    What grade does Trout get for being injured and out 2 months? Or Kershaw? Or Sano? Or Morneau after the MVP half season concussion year? Or anyone that misses parts of the season due to injury, and then perhaps comes back sooner than they should to help a team, and is still compromised by the injury somewhat? D+, eh?

    Great retort. Still chuckling to myself 10 minutes later. Slama even did well at AAA! Without Moya, where would Chattanooga be??????

    76-67 sure would look nice coming out of KC. I hope the "leader" shows up more than he did at Dodger Stadium (the worst team in baseball since August 26 at 1-11 ) I like logjams. They always sort themselves out. Depth is not a problem. At least I don't think it is. I haven't really seen any quality depth here for a reference. Or, give up on him, cast him off, and let him be another former Twin that wins a batting title in Colorado.

    Watching Boshers come in, nibble out of the zone, (actually, his third pitch was a perfect strike in the very upper inside corner of the zone, and the umpire, as usual, mis-called it as a ball even though he was looking right at it at about eye level in his crouch over the inside shoulder of the catcher) and then after going 3-0, got the count to 3-2 with a couple of good sinkers, but then threw a no movement no sink sinker right down the very middle of the zone at all of 90mph. Blast off. Hard for me to make excuses for him at all, past present or future. YUK! At least Pressly didn't blow it up today. He came close, but survived.

    The worst part about it being so empty, is that they guard the seats that nobody is in close to the field like a war zone. They work hard to keep what little attendance they have away from the field of play.

    I hope Buxton settles down a bit again. 0 for his last 10, and consistently swinging at pitches up to a foot outside and low again.
