    We replace a 6.41 ERA pitcher with an 11.40 ERA pitcher. (Sorry folks, I don't cherry pick Colon's season). Is this a team that has playoff hopes? It is still early. I hate to see Molitor conceding the game.

    Our pitchers aren't leaning. Not only are they horrible, they aren't learning, either.

    Was never OK with it, and never will be. He is a bum. In the baseball sense. He's been a lucky bum. Trouble with luck, is one can start to think they are good instead of lucky, and press the luck.

    Maybe Molitor just forgot that the last time he brought Boshers in, in Tampa, with a 6-5 lead in the 5th, to do the lefty lefty thing.... he served up the solo homer to the first batter, lefty Kevin Kiermaier, and the game was tied at 6, just like that. The Buddy and the lefty lefty thing is just about as reliable as the "but Pressly has stuff" thing.

    Molitor waits until the bases loaded and behind by 2 to bring in the guy that should have started the inning. Busenitz. Maybe he was hoping to use him in the 9th. And he throws another first pitch right down the pipe. Amazing.

    It is up to the offense to win games now. They need to score at least 5 a game, and early. Bremer says the bullpen has been really good, just not tonight. He must be watching different games. These relievers as petrified.

    You can say what you like. And he doesn't have to get canned. His contract expires. That was the deal.

    At least Pressly gets to start the inning. Gives me a little more hope.

    Molitor's is so entrenched in old school baseball. With these young players, it will be great to see what they can do with updated baseball next year, and Molitor watching from the stands.

    Andy Fletcher needs a new job. At least keep him from behind the plate. Just horrible.

    Three of Escobar's called balls, were strikes. Pitches 1,2,3. Then on a 3-0 count, the ump called the close ball, a strike. 4 in a row, wrong. Tough day for the plate umpire.
