  1. I'm in the group that thinks it should have been done sooner, but we are nearing September and they are still in the race. Nothing wrong with adding another piece, especially with Perkins future this year being up in the air right now.
  2. What's with this non-collision? I missed this.
  3. You could blame it on a dead arm, though he was throwing harder tonight on both pitches than his season averages.
  4. A lot of pitches for a guy who should be getting a lot more groundballs and having relatively quick AB's. Not a good night for Gibby.
  5. Dave's post-loss thread going up in 3..2...1...
  6. Lol. What else would happen at Yankee Stadium to this team?
  7. Well.......if they EVER needed a K, this is it.
  8. Add to the fact he has pitched now 3 days in a row..
  9. Betances average 96.9 this year, Hoey averaged 95.3 in his long 2 year career. I will say....I really thought Hoey was hitting the high 90's, but apparently I am wrong.
  10. I have a feeling if he would have been on 2nd he would have been pinch run for
  11. Lefties have lit up Perk pretty good this year.
  12. Now would be a good time to see Eddie swing at one at eye level and pull it over the RF wall
  13. I love hard throwing-emotional-yelling Fien
  14. To be fair, not many teams have an answer to Betances.
  15. That's one........now let's have that ground ball DP Casey.....
  16. 2 lefties reach in a row against O'Rourke....ouch.
  17. The Twins are third in the league having 442 PA with 0-2 count this season. Leading this category Milwaukee with 454. Meanwhile on the other hand, Twins pitchers are right in the middle, getting to an 0-2 count 392 times, ranking them 16th in the league
  18. His piece said their top target was Gibson and they also were interested in Sano. For all we know it could have been Gibson+Sano. They could have been willing to give up Gibson, but Sano was the deal breaker. Who knows. I just think saying the Twins wouldn't give up Gibson for Tulo is mis-informed and using a small piece of information to make assumption you couldn't possibly know the answer to.
  19. Ohhhhh good point. I must dig deeper into this now.
