    There is no way the Yankees would trade Severino for Santiago "close to straight up" Unless the second piece coming over was named Sano, Buxton, Kepler, Dozier, Gordon or Berrios! Like no, no no no no no no the Yankees would never do that deal. There would be at least a dozen other pitchers better or equal to Santiago at the deadline anyways! Would you trade Berrios for Santiago? Nope.

    Hillary had a lot of faults, but her talking about building bridges not walls has a lot of relevance here. Instead of ****ting on Islam, why not educate and reach out to Muslims who are feeling persecuted (for whatever reason). Why not reach out to the vunerable and lend a hand? It's not a short term fix, it will take generations, but it's time to start fixing it now.

    Lolol Richard would not cost that. Give me a break man. Richard is like the 10th best pitch who will be avail this deadline. Nobody is going to give up a SP with high upside for him.

    I will never understand the people who do all they can to pile on Mauer. He's likely one of the best 5 catchers in the history of the game, and definitely one of the best 5 hitters in Twins history. I LOVE that the numbers are coming back for Mauer, not only bc it makes the 2017 that much better with Mauer Raking, but another good season or two prob puts him in the hall of fame no doubt. (He should be in regardless, but voters can be.....dumb at times) Love seeing Mauer doing well, hope he keeps it up. I also think he is a big reason why Sano is taking much more patient at bats. I have been told from folks around the game that even though Mauer is a "quiet guy, no a rah rah type" he is a very good leader and one of the most respected players in baseball: teammates, opponents, coaches, scouts, umpires, FO etc

    The guy that carried it out was born, raised and lived in Manchester his whole life. "Easy" fixes like: walls, refugee bans, "wars" on Islam etc won't work. It's time for something long term and real in these discussions. Not baseless racist rhetoric.

    I don't mind if it's a rental, as long as the piece(s) given up aren't going to be missed: Like take on the contract and give up a C level prospect or two, the following pitchers could fit the bill: -Marco Estrada -Trevor Cahill -Alex Cobb (Rays would need to fall out a bit) -Johnny Cueto (Interesting case as he can opt out of his 4 year 82 million after this year which he most likely will, if not, I wouldn't mind the Twins being on the hook for that!) -Jeremy Hellickson -Ian Kennedy (Royals might be open to trading in the division) -Tyson Ross (DL) -Vargas (see royals) Hellickson, Estrada and Cobb would probably be my top targets. They would cost a bit more, but I doubt the Twins would have to give up any of their better prospects.

    22 dead, many of them children. Absolutely horrific, I am in London currently and it's definitely an eerie feeling in town as people wake up to all of this madness. People just out having a good time going to a concert, and it ends like this. ugh. this world sometimes.

    Yeah,at this point nearly every pitcher is an upgrade over tossing Gibson or Tespech out every 5th day. Just trade for Richard or a similar "boring" pitcher and be done with it.

    Actually go into a full fledged rebuild. Stop trying to pretend to compete, trade aging assets, acquire young assets, take some actual real risks in the international market (fyi: the Twins best moves in that space all came from Bill Smith) If the Twins would have actually done a legit rebuild 3-4-5 seasons ago, we could be looking at a top team in Baseball currently that is built around the current young core: Sano, Kepler, Buxton, Berrios etc

    That isn't true at all. Twinsdaily is literally the only site I visit that continues to have these issues, I have offered you no less than 5 times to fix this issue for you guys for free. The extremely modest gains you see in eCPM prices are whipped out exponentially by: -people running ad blocker -people who just won't come to the site It's.Not.Difficult.

    $54 million isn't even that much money these days, 50%+ went to taxes, agents etc It would be dumb for him to turn down $26 million left (which would make up over a third of his lifetime earnings and net worth) doubt he wants his agents to lose out of their money owed as well.
