    I agree with this take, if Meyer comes up and is solid out of the pen for the twins they never take him out, I'd like to see him get one more shot to become a front end rotation guy, we have waited this long, what's another couple months?

    The Vikings have made zero Super Bowls in my lifetime. The 87 series was when I was 1.5 years old, so that doesn't really apply to what I was talking about. Also the Cavs have been to TWO NBA finals in the past ten years, not "just finally made one". also Minnesota has 4 sports teams vs Clevelands 3

    No need to talk down to people from your high horse, I was joking with Brock earlier and have known him personally for many years before TD was ever around. Yes it costs more than $20 to run a website, yes these guys deserved to get paid (Twinsdaily is actually profitable and the owners make money on it, albeit it not a ton and per a per hour basis it would be significantly lower than minimum wage) but that doesn't mean the users can't be upset with ads that are beyond over the top, these auto pla, auto expandable, ads that freeze everything up are just as bad as the pop up ads that dominated web 1.0

    Great win, hopefully the Mariners can take care of business and put the Twins only 2.5 back of the division. Currently tied for the Wild Card first place lead, hopefully this will get them to start winning series again.

    Also, Meyer is the type of talent still who if he figures it out can be a top of the rotation type guy, I wonder if the Twins want to try to start him again in a little while if he gets his "stuff" back while in the pen. I wouldn't fault them for trying one last time to turn him into a starter.

    I mean I hate to admit it, but the RHP out of the pen hasn't been that bad, Fien and Boyer at least are getting somewhat decent results. The LHP is a disaster though (sans Perkins) They need to figure out how to stash Graham in AAA (Just trade a scrub to Atlanta), cut Duensing and figure out how to find a LOOGY ASAP.

    I'm all about getting our prospects to the show, but it's hard to fault Ryan for not throwing Meyer up in the big leagues so quickly. As little as a few weeks ago Meyer was a complete disaster on the mound. I understand why he wants to see more than 16 innings to convince him he is ready.

    While I think the confederate flag is stupid and should be removed ASAP, I have a bit of a problem with "how fast" it all has happened, to me it is just politicians looking to earn and score some easy low hanging points. Instead of the governor of SC and other states coming out and saying "remove a flag" why don't they say something strong that might actually fix an issue? Come out strong against gun violence, gun laws etc. This Roof kid was awaiting trial on a FELONY charge, there is absolutely no reason why someone who is have yet to be found not guilty of a felony charge should be allowed to buy a gun. Removing the flag in a whirlwind doesn't solve anything IMO, it just creates a further divide amongst people and a greater disdain towards black people from the racists. At least Obama had the balls to speak out about the gun violence issues on that podcast, and he was spot on with his statement that the NRA and gun lobbies have too much influence on congress for any real bills or change to pass. If we want these things to be fixed we need a public outcry, not a public outcry about some flag that racists adore.

    A ton of the disdain towards Obama is because of racism, all you have to do is spend a day or two down south to hear some pretty obvious racial "issues" with him. Hell even politicians are showing racism towards him, that whole bit about how his daughter dressed was racism, the questioning of his birth is embarrassingly racist.

    Buxton is back in the leadoff spot today, against Sale who is a LHP. I wonder if this is Mollys short term plan? I'm not sure I like switching him between 1st and 9th in the order every other day though.

    I wouldn't mind seeing Meyer in the minors for another week or two to rebuild his confidence completely. I think you bring him up right after the all star break.
