  1. A non refundable one at that!!!
  2. The odds of Mauer and Vargas both getting HR in their last at bats had to be something like 5,000:1 Sports is fun sometimes!
  3. Might be the biggest win of the season thus far. Two out of 4 against the best team in baseball? I will take it. Hopefully this jumpstarts Mauer and Vargas as well. Great win!
  4. Nah, Hughes isn't going to go anywhere. Hughes just needs to keep the ball in the park.
  5. Bernier Duensing Schafer Are all options.
  6. I don't think Pelfrey or Milone are going to bring back much in any trade. While both are pitching well, there is usually no shortage of back end rotation type guys on the market. Milone only brought back 4th OF Sam Fuld last year. If you really want to bring in a young catcher with potential (upgrade over Suzuki) or a young SS, you probably have to trade Gibson, I'm not sure even May would bring back a "stud" at this point.
  7. I don't think he has any real value, look at who we got him for last year? I would rather hold onto Milone and keep him around as a low cost back end rotation guy (instead of going out and spending FA money on the Correias, Ponsons, Marquis, Nolascos of the world)
  8. IMO The guy they should be dangling on the trade front should be Gibson, don't get me wrong I like Gibson a lot, but I think he could be the one who could actually fetch us a really good prospect or piece where we need help (Catcher or SS) I don't think Nolasco is going to be back anytime soon. I guess I wouldn't be opposed to putting May in the pen, especially if he is actually on an "innings limit", I would prefer Pelfrey in the pen, but again he has pitched way to well (smoke and mirrors or not) to be put in the pen.
  9. he suffered what sounded like a major setback with his current ankle injury.
  10. Fwiw Santana has to be called up after his 16 day "rehab" You have to put him in the rotation, he has the best track record of the bunch. Maybe you go to a 6 man rotation until someone pitches their way out of it?
  11. ESPN has all games frozen too, not an MLB at bat app, likely a stats LLC issue
  12. Pelfrey to 8th inning guy would make sense, but the guy has pitched very well this far and you can't take him out. Anyways, one of those "good" problems to have I suppose.
  13. Reynolds has been killing them this series, he was over due for one of his patented strike outsx
  14. Twins really needed that win! Hopefully can get the split tomorrow and get back on track
  15. So the recipe to success is scoring more than two runs a game!!
  16. This has heartbreak written all over it.
  17. Hughes. But you can't pull him. May is next worse this year, but I don't see how you bump him either. Pelf and Gibson have earned their spots for sure so far, and Malone has thrown two very good games in a row now after destroying AAA
  18. racist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Santana is back in two weeks. Who is the odd man out at this point?
  20. Etc etc etc Go twins! My prediction: dozier with a double and a home run, buxton with 3 hits, 3 runs and 1 SB. Twins win 8-2
  21. He will be fine. The whole team sans dozier is hitting like dog doo doo lately.
