    Yes but he won’t be picked up this week. Give it some time when his salary has been partially paid and he has a larger work sample size of success.

    He keeps pitching like yesterday, sometime this season, someone will pluck him off waivers. 29 other teams need a long man in the pen.

    He has everything the Twins love. Even the swing and miss. Wether he plays at CF or SS shouldn’t matter much at 20 yo but where he is at 22 yo if he is a splashy rookie prospect following Jenkins to AAA matters. SS makes sense now cause he can always move spots or C4 may need to make the move off SS in ‘27. Anyway, develop his bat to ball skills so there is less swing and miss.

    Right now he is AAAA good. He needs to be MLB good. The future is up to him. At 26yo, his time hasn’t run out but there are other prospects coming with higher upsides.

    Paddack may end up in the bullpen and Matthews in the rotation. Sept/oct might even see Festa in the bullpen. Depth is nice to have.

    Somewhere between 160-2 and 0-162. Don’t panic.

    Well the list of top pitchers, stats wise includes him so if he limits his blow up games, he could be absolutely dominating with his pinpoint control. Ober in his prime and grinding out 6 2/3 innings per appearance ave works well for his CY chances. Lopez and Ryan are probably in the same boat. Hopefully they try to out do each other and all 3 have career best seasons. Stack those wins young men!

    What a great way to open the season!! Wow!! Looks like The Saints are full of drafted, developing talent. Good also to not see Kiersey in the lineup 😎 Got 3 healthy young SP that are on the 40man so the big club has immediate depth pieces available. Let the Emma/LK show begin! Lots of fireworks across the river this spring!!

    Yes, giving guys spot starts in the rotation. Adding a hot prospect to the 40 man if someone goes on the 60 day IL that can help in MLB.

    Well, we always have injuries so anyone on the 40 man with options can come and go from AAA to MLB.

    Best way for them to get a cup of tea in MLB is if we are up 15 games in the central by 8/15. Gets some kids a little experience and get to the post season healthy….

    Man do we have a lot of potential in the pitching prospects!! I bet that CP will knock down the door and be in the bullpen by the allstar break. Pure filth. The same thing could happen with LK at 2B/util/anywhere. He swings the bat like Trout and steals bases like Cruz. These two just need to stay healthy. This is the 3rd of 5 great rookie classes. Not everyone will stick long term but there are enough to keep the best and trade the rest.

    Paddack has a career 4.38 ERA with just under 1 SO/inning (417/424) career whip of 1.19. The only knock on Paddack is the injuries. I will never understand the haters…

    Per mlb.com, Castellano was returned to Philly on 3/25.

    Records are made to be broken. Twins beat the Dodgers in the world series in 7 games. We will then have a huge influx of Japanese players wanting to sign with us because they want to play against the Dodgers every October. World wide merch sales increase and the Pohlads sell the Twins for $2B in 2027. yeah. Not gonna happen 🙅‍♂️

    Yes, the Guardians only had 2 decent SP’s. The other 11 had era’s well over 4.5 with most over 5.00. Hard to earn a win with era’s over 5. The team won games because 4 guys in the bullpen just pain shut the door. Clase had 47 saves and an era under 1.00. If out SP keep the score at 3-4 at most consistently, we will win more often than not and the rotation guys will get the W.

    Lots of things go into that prediction. Someone will have more than 16 tho. he will most often be lined up in the rotation with an opposing pitcher that is not as good as he is. He has a great bullpen behind him that most other teams do not have. I’m not saying his performances will all be stellar but this is a team game and the guys backing him up will help his success and win count.
