    Thats the blessing of having a very deep and talented minor league system. We have a wealth of 22-25 year olds and someone out of the group will fit into the Twins and probably stick for next season. Having all the early injuries sucks as far as our current record. If we get healthy, we might just start winning! In the mean time, if LK is indeed special, he will stick in MLB and we will be a better team with him on the roster.

    If Bride is more useful, is that not some sort of upgrade? If he sticks around and matches last years ops+ 120. That would certainly be an upgrade. Almost Willi Castroesque. Not one of us predicted how good Castro has been for this organization. We may be pleasantly surprised if Bride hits the ground running with this opportunity!

    Some guys are just a special talent. He has a wealth of speed and power with a sweet swing modeled after Mike Trout. So far LK’s pro career has been nothing but fun to watch. His meteoric rise to MLB should not go unnoticed by other prospects. Although not everyone is blessed with his skillset, others should take note of how he goes about his prep and development. He is far from a finished product but I am geeked to watch him grow and produce in the big show.

    Everyone said he hasn’t recovered, he hasn't had enought milb experience. Every excuse available and then he has a great MLB debut. Maybe some injured players should reevaluate how they carry water bottles or walk on slippery sidewalks.

    Bride is the next available if another injury happens. At the current injury rate, we will be out of position players by june.

    Not sure we can fit everyone on the 60 man IL rn.

    Just comparing the surgery. He isnt going to be Otani. Geez.

    Not sure why so many people are down on LK. Otani played all season in ‘24 after TJ in ‘23. LK can play baseball, he just can’t pitch. Thank god he isn’t a pitcher😂 and who ever thinks its ok for him to DH in AAA but not MLB,…. Welp, the Twins need hitters to get on base and score, LK is really really good at that skill. Lets try him out and see how he does. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    True. I read up on that, he would have to be placed on the mlb 60 day il or dfa’d. Not sure why he isn’t on the 60 day IL already since he had surgery and will be out all season.

    Looks like we traded for 1B Jonah Bride today. Our season is officially saved!!!

    Isn’t Canterino on the minor league 60 day IL equivalent just like Headrick was last year? I think he can be replaced without going off the 40 man.

    Joey Gallo is now a minor league pitcher. Seriously.

    Sounds like C4 is going to escape the IL stint for now but why wait on promoting LK to the 26/40 man roster. We win more games with him at DH everyday and being on base twice every game. The kid is a MLB’r and he can sub into the game as a late inning fielder until his arm is better…. Which wont be long.

    Its April, in MN. SP’s aren’t going to throw 7-9innings in April. Would we like to see 6.1innings. Absolutely but the only trainwreck on this team is the lack of hitting and scoring runs.

    The fact that that we have to get so invested in later round daft picks is sad. Most high draft picks seem to wash out or are so fragile, they rarely play. One would hope that every decade, we could draft a Cal Ripken type of talent 🤷🏼‍♂️

    I would have bet that they both burned out this season or next. So far, I am batting .500. I would prefer batting 0.00 but Miranda hasn’t figured out how to watch a pitch go by that he doesn’t like. 🤦‍♂️

    I’m now thinking they trade down down once and then trade up once or twice. They will end up with two 2nd round picks, a 4th round pick. A 5th, 6th & 7th. 6 total picks and one less pick next year. Trader Kwesi for the win!

    Throw Paddack in the pen. Throw Alcala away. Then put Festa and Matthews in the starting rotation. bring up Headrick, oh wait. He is a yankee with 0.00 era and a 0.56 whip in 5.1 innings. Yeah small sample size….

    Headrick will be an allstar if he keeps up a .000 era and whip under .80 5.1 innings small sample size but crap, we could have used him….

    Have the Twins won any games this year or just failed to lose them all?

    Sounds like there really isn't much “non tampering” time. Agents are always working the phone and “the next contract” is always fluid since it’s so easy to get cut from a roster.
