  1. I think Wallner and especially Julien are getting to a place where they have to show they fit on this roster. LOTS of moves coming this offseason in my opinion, and that's why they got this one done earlier than they typically start to make moves. I also get the sense that Keaschall is going to be in the outfield more than the infield this year. Curious how that makes the infield shake out.
  2. Certainly doesn't strike out anywhere near as much as Sano or Gallo or Wallner.
  3. Just wanted to say I always appreciate and love your writing Parker. Thank you!
  4. All of the names you listed below I’d be good with. Specifically Mayo and Casas is who I’d love to target. I don’t know that Mountcastle would be my first choice but I would go that route before at least half of the free agents listed here.
  5. This tells me the trade route is the smarter path to take
  6. I'd be interested in Mountcastle to help for a season. I'd even think about Ober going there, as salaries are similar, if Baltimore attached a decent prospect. I'd much prefer Mayo, and I'd be curious what the ask would be. Lopez and Ryan are non-starters in my opinion, but I'd at least listen after that. I do think he is close to ready to be a middle of the order bat the Twins have been missing since Nelson Cruz left.
  7. It really does sound like Keaschall is going to get run in left and some center field. Certainly he can also fill in at 2b and even 1b, but I get the sense from quotes in the last week that he may be playing a LOT of left field.
  8. I would LOVE Ha Seong Kim on this team, either at SS or 2B. Up the middle defense he would bring would really help here.
  9. Is this on the table? It's a fun thought experiment. I guess generally I want to see if Lewis can get back to his 2023 and early 2024 levels, but Abrams would be fun to see at SS.
  10. Burress is growing on me a bit, but I would love to see how Flukey or Peterson do this year to see if they pop up. But Lebron's tools are intriguing. MLB has the top 9 in this class all 60 or higher (Cholowsky at 65.) In the 2023 draft, Skenes and Crews were 65 and then Langford and Clark and Jenkins were all 60. It is exciting that the Twins will get a high end prospect at #3, as well as some really good pieces with round 2, comp b and round 3 in July.
  11. I’d be curious what it would cost. That’s all.
  12. I'd shoot for Mayo, but whatever works.
  13. He wasn't great compared to the league he played in, but it is interesting. We'll see.
  14. Bobby Nightengale is reporting the Twins are trading Susac to the Giants. More to come
  15. Bobby Nightengale is saying the Twins are already trading Susac to the Giants. More to come.
  16. Catcher with a decent offensive game. Maybe they are thinking of moving Jeffers? Interesting
  17. There is plenty of time this offseason. Don't need multiple rule 5 picks today
  18. Per Bobby Nightengale, McCusker outrighted off 40 man and is set to find a team potentially in Korea for next season. Wish him well. That also means they have an open 40 man spot. Rule 5 draft is today at 1pm central.
  19. Only because I read this from Aaron Gleeman last night. The Twins have picked 3rd in the draft two other times prior to the pick they earned for 2026. They took Willie Banks in 1987, and David McCarty in 1991. All of that means the player they will take in 2026 will probably not work out, but it DOES mean they win the world series in 2026, right? :)
  20. I can't be the only one who ONLY thinks about one specific situation that happened when I see Reese McGuire's name, am I?
