Never would have scored on Hicks. Bad series, but 3-3 so far on the road trip from hell

The first starter that would be called up for a permanent spot would be May, who's already on the 40-man. I know Bernier isn't on the 40-man, but he can play more positions than just SS and can certainly hit better. I am sure Florimon has a better glove at SS, but he is limited by position. Does Beresford play anything besides 2nd?

Rosario could be the Twins LF next year. For the second year in a row Walker is leading the league in the power categories. Wow, there are exciting players at every level of the Twins farm system

The shocking Morales signing (take that you people who still call the Pohlads cheapskates), means that changes are coming. I would guess that Kubel is gone, since Parms can play 1b. This move signifies the weakness of the AL Central that the Twins think they can make a run. The lineup looks formidable (in Twins' terms), and Hughes, Gibson and Even Nolasco of late have been good. So I expect the next domino to fall to be Correia or Burton. Meyer, May, Tonkin and Achter as possible replacements. I don't know it will be enough, but meaningful baseball late into the summer will be a welcome sight after the last three years

I could be the biggest homer out there, but things need to change. Right now we have Correia, Pelfrey, Florimon, Guerrier, Kubel, Burton, Fryer and Ibarra on the 40-man roster, that opens up 8 possible spots, which you can fill with Meyer, May, Pressly and Achter from Rochester and also bring up Bernier as the replacement for Escobars original utility role for sure.

The Royals seem to have the pitching almost there and no Moose and Butler isn't exactly hitting like Kurt Suzuki.

I think Arcia comes up Monday for Hermann, need to keep Santana as backup INF and CF or a little while longer.

.500 ball would be great. Who knows how the Rangers will react to losing Prince and Profar for the year, plus their starters have been hurt. NYY is our kryptonite but their starters have not been great either except for Tanaka. Buster Olney was right, our schedule to start the season has been absolutely brutal. treading water in this stretch will be fine for me.

Other than a two game series in Milwaukee, the Twins will not be playing in a National League park for a month. The Twins are all but certain to call up Arcia to be ready for the homestand. I am assuming that Hermann will be sent back to Rochester. Willingham will be coming to the end of his rehab assignment and is 2 for 16 for the Red Wings. At that point, I think Santana will go down. However, what are they going to do when Fuld is ready to return? Would you send Hicks down? Do we really need Fuld at this point anyways? Since Fuld was injured, Parmelee was added to the 40-man and has certainly earned a spot to continue on the 25 man roster. Then you have the added fact that Pelfrey is set to return from rehab. It does not make any sense to take Deduno out of the rotation since he has earned a spot in my opinion. That just leaves Correia or Pelfrey. Correia pitched OK last night, but the Padres are not a hitting juggernaut and Petco Park makes Target Field feel like Camden Yards, so I am not sure that proved anything. In my opinion, you add the Hammer and Arcia back onto the 25 man roster, and option Santana and Hermann back to Rochester. You only have one spot available in the rotation for Correia and Pelfrey. I think Correia is more tradeable at this point, so I would see what you could get for him and dump him, especially since he is a FA after the season and Pelf's contract is now an albatross to a trade. Problem is, Meyer, May and Darnell seem to give the Twins a better chance to win than these two, and would also create more buzz around the team since ticket sales are lagging. If I was in control I would DFA both of Correia and Pelfrey and bring up one of Meyer, May or Darnell to be the 5th starter. Then you would have to figure out what to do with Fuld. In summary, its a mess of mediocrity.

It sounds like Stewart is on a 75-pitch limit per game.
