  1. The scrubs shall inherit the Earth.
  2. I guess that question was answered.
  3. I could probably be sucked into an overpay for this. Damn lucky I’m not a GM.
  4. I’d be thrilled. I wouldn’t do it, but I’d be thrilled.
  5. Nothing can take the place of The Official Rancid Sausage of the Minnesota Twins.
  6. I expect that may be what happens. Coming and going. This team may look different come August.
  7. I seem to recall Bert Blyleven flipping the bird to everyone his last day when he was traded the first time.
  8. Rodon can be beaten; the question being can Paddack hold the line.
  9. For exactly the second time in their careers (not counting ST), Correa, Buxton, and Lewis are taking the field together. I find this something to celebrate.
  10. Right now I’m guessing after this road trip.
  11. Hoping for really good Pablo today.
  12. Singer replaced by lefty Lynch IntraVenous as KC starter.
  13. What are the chances the Twins (and other teams) have been instructed by the league office to keep mum?
  14. Not looking good for the home team.
  15. 3 pitch strikeouts are really nice.
  16. Here’s my take. There’s an old aphorism in sports that goes something like ‘the best ability is availability.’ The tandem of Jeffers and Vazquez has been available whenever the bell is rung. This has value. And not just in dollars.
  17. Basically, a Jason Castro clone would be ideal.
  18. I’d hire Joe Mauer as a special consultant to work with Eddie, mostly on developing a good two-strike approach. He’s got to learn to foul off those close pitches he’s been taking for called third strikes.
  19. Supposed to be ending between 1 and 2. So maybe a short delay at most.
  20. Right-hander Gerson Garabito called up and making MLB debut for the Rangers. Twins using lefty lineup, although notably Julien is bumped down to batting eighth.
