    I mean, the guys name is "Outman", he was literally born to NOT get a hit, yet Pagan went against nature to allow that GS. ETA: dont take this as any sort of defense of Pagan or letting him off the hook, or disagreement of the article. Last night talking about the game I said "why is he still on the team?!" my 8 year old answered "because hes so bad that no team would want to trade for him". so we had a discussion about the option to just cut players. He then wondered why they hadnt done that yet.

    I dont watch the yankees much at all, but is their defense always that bad? they were like the White Sox out there botching plays.

    My only complaint about the building going up in LF is that I wont be able to afford a condo there. The low attendance is a double edged sword for me. I like it when its not too busy, shorter lines, less crowded in the seats, but it certainly more fun when the energy is there in the stadium and they are playing well.

    Before the Twins wore the jerseys, I had never heard of the team. This was great. Thank you PS nicknames were so much better back then, Steel Arm, Dude, Chappie...

    I would like to see the Manfred Man start in the 12th inning. give us up to 2 "normal" extra innings before starting it.

    Thank you John, Aaron, Nick, Parker, Seth, everyone involved in TD and the Meltdown. Along with opening day, this is one of my favorite days of the year.

    Great article. Number 12 is it. I go to about 30 games a year, probably 20-24 of those with my two kids. I love it. my kids ask why we dont "have a cabin" we go to during the summer like so many of their friends. We tell them that Target FIeld is our "cabin".

    So who gets moved from SS, Lindor or Correa? I get that Cohen isnt shy about throwing money around, but this doesnt make sense to me since the Mets already had a $300+ Puerto Rican shortstop.

    Link isnt working for me. I had to just go to Etix and type in twins daily and bought them without problems. not sure if anyone else had problems.

    Im torn, as a STH, I want the team to be good and attendance to be high, BUT I do like it when the lines for food/bathrooms arent long, and the concourses arent jammed packed.

    I misread this as "Reusse to join Twins Daily writing staff", and I thought, wow, thats a great get for TD, but isnt it a step down from columnist for the Strib? (no offense John). This makes much more sense.
