    Florida State Lg is notoriously a pitchers league, but its hard to gauge a player & tell if its the lg or the competition. Perez has been consistently average this yr, but has shown flashes. 13-33 over last 9 gms (.393) w/3hr 9rbi---.274BAve w/.402slgg since May 1 in 44gms with 4hr 23rbi Do people think its the league/parks that has slowed him or was last yr just a mirage??

    Derek Rodriguez to ELIZ is a no brainer as he's a 2nd yr guy playing well Niko & Keplar to Beloit for the same reason.....think Harrison & Adam Walker could also. Rosario & Sano...dont think MN is sold on em. Roberts is overdue Pinto to New Brit for sure....not sure of Hauser now he's starting, but he should MN considers AA the top lg for prospects, so I only expect Watts/Pugh, Bromberg again. Hirshfield is already in ROC. Hicks/Hermann/Arcia are all Sept callups straight from New Brit Only new AAA promotions to me are Guerra & probably Duduno

    2nd straight start was ruined (somewhat) by rain & shortened his start to 4IP 5h 4k. Pretty solid 2 starts in a row......9IP 7h 0r 8k 1bb

    Many things to love Goodrums about, but with 2bb's tonight....he has 14bb 11K. If he can do anything CLOSE to that moving up.....very nice. He hasnt shown that type of discipline his first 2 yrs...90k 30bb in 95gms .304/.443/.684 in 57ABs, 14gms w/15rbi

    Worry about the start on Sunday on that date. Can still make a move if needed. With 4 days off for break & then wont need another starter till 5th game, so just 1 of next 10 gms is affected. This is actually one of the more astute moves the team has made IMO, as it takes strategy into effect.

    this is what Im kinda asking. If Harrison earns a promotion before Sano, will he be kept down....despite being older....to avoid sharing a position with Sano?? Couldnt that possibly stunt the growth of Harrison?? Is there more goin on with Sano right now. I get 31 errors but he's still sitting. If it was errors & they wanted him to take a break, why not DH him???

    Twins now consider AA the top level for prospects & AAA the dumping grounds for 28 yr old retreads that they may need on the big club. Now is the time to promote him if they dont believe that (but they do).

    with the 2 best 3B hitting prospects in the organization showing they cant handle the defensive duties of 3B, but they can hit.....what do you do with them. Harrison is actually 5 months older than Miguel & as they go up the ladder, do you keep Harrison a level underneath at all times even if he deserves a promotion because of the position?? Does the organization keep fighting the position changes.....or can they actually keep both on the same roster playin multiple positions & see if which player earns what position???

    Casilla has actually been healthy for the first time as a fulltime Twin. Valencia could have value right now as a RH DH/1B, backup 3B/PH vs lefties. His splits have been pretty wild. Cant hit righties/kills lefties. Gray has no use & I would dump him 2 months ago if our AAA relievers coulda stayed healthy. DFA Blackburn & Nishi & pay their 10m total for next yr but keep em off the 40 man.

    Most are pretty filled out by 25/26yrs old. the extra 35lbs have more to do with a 14m contract & livin the life

    Lanigan gave up 6er in his first appearance & since...6 appearances 6.1 IP 4h 0r 3.86ERA in AA..but 9 of his 13er in AA came in 2 appearances....1.30 ERA in other 20gms in New Brit....they all count I know but he's had 3 bad games in 29 appearances. 1.06ERA in other 26gms I am VERY much a believer in rewarding your own players (draft picks) over the retreads....MN thinks otherwise over the yrs.

    Duensing, pitching tonite, will be on 3 days rest.....could get the start & just go 3-5 IP with Swarzak for backup.

    2-5 w/9sv 4.30 ERA in 33 gms...46IP .228BAve 42k 14bb.....5.29ERA ERA since April 23.....5.55ERA in AAA last yr been pretty average at best this year. This is the perfect arguement of why this team is what it is. Call up a bullpen guy who truly doesnt deserve to be in majors & earned nothing. Caleb Thielbar, Esmeril Vasquez & Bobby Lanigan were all better options & have pitched better with Deolis Guerra having to grow up sometime before next season sitting there also.

    6-16 isnt the right stat as they lost 5 of the next 6....since starting 7-21, they 28-24, which is a .538 winning percentage---same as the White Sox (who everyone says is a below average team). Another fun stat....Texas leads the major leagues with a .617 winning %. If the Twins, with 82gms left, play at that pace....they finish with 86-76 record. As bad as CHI has been to lead the division, if they play ONLY this bad in 2nd half, they also finish with 86 wins. Winning the division is out of question IMO.

    Josmil is a 23 year old righthanded hitting Venezuelan catcher/DH. He's been in organiztion since signing as a 16yr old. He spent his first 3 season in VFL/DFL/GCL as a 17/18/19 yr old. Pinto broke out as a 20 yr old in ELIZ goin .332/.387/.610 in 53gms-22 starts as C (205ABs) 14doubles 2 triples 13HR 55rbi 39k 19bb & thru out 46% of the 26 basestealers. Then spent 2010 in Beloit but struggled---.225/.295/.378 in 100gms-66starts as C (347ABs) 21doubles 1triple 10hr 54rbi 67k 32bb w/26% of 90 basestealers caught. Spent first 9gms of 2011 in Beloit before promotion to Ft Myers --.261/ .301/.395 in 73gms-52 starts as C (253ABs) 14doubles 1 triple 6hr 41rbi 46k 14bb 35% of 52baserunners caught Thru July 3rd in 2nd season at Ft Myers--.253/.322/.406 in 59gms 37starts as C (217ABs) 13doubles 1triple 6hr 32rbi 34k 24bb 47% of 34baserunners caught. 2 seasons at Ft Myers....258/.314/.397 in 123gms--103 starts as C (438 ABs) 24doubles 2 triples 11hr 64rbi 70k 36bb---38% of 74 baserunners caught compare this to 24yr old Chris Hermanns Ft Myers #s , both as 22/23yr olds----.237/.329/.325 in 131gms 102starts as C (443ABs) 22doubles 4triples 3HR 46rbi 80k 56bb caught 36% of 112 baserunners Should Pinto be considered a better prospect than he is (or at least I thought he was). Seems the equal of Hermann to me. Needs to get a New Brit promotion & see where he's headin. 6 yr FA after this yr, so he may need to be protected or lose him.
