  1. Not a mug fan, a good, decent pint glass is my weapon of choice.
  2. Definitely bring your drinking shoes............and some cab fare..............and maybe a pillow.
  3. I think AA would be a pretty solid choice. It's a little difficult to compare his time with the Jays with how he might approach the job in Minnesota. He was under quite a bit of pressure in Toronto to win, it's a big market team when taking into account it's National status, plus it being an AL East team. He was basically given a blank cheque from Rogers to win now, I think that influences his decision making. I don't think the same conditions apply in Minnesota, sure the fan base is hungry to return to relevance but somehow I think the immediate pressure to provide a WS is a bit less. He's obviously a good evaluator of talent and isn't afraid to make moves he's feels benefits his team. I'm not sure that necessarily equates to selling the farm.
  4. Let's hope if one of us runs into Herbie wearing that shirt, he doesn't take it personally.
  5. Actually, I just happen to be "down", might be more appropriate.
  6. Investigating possible discount sponsorship opportunities with last place baseball team.
  7. The stars have aligned, I just happen to be down in the TC's that weekend.
  8. No, no they won't.
  9. Well, well, aren't we all learning to spell. My work here is done.
  10. Depends what time of the night it is.
  11. True, but this one is a bigger joke. http://www.thebeerstore.ca/sites/default/files/styles/brand_hero/public/sbs/brand/TBS_Glassware%20Pairing_Molson%20Canadian%20Session%20IPA.JPG?itok=QafqEFy5
  12. No kidding, property in Vancouver is obscenely expensive, especially in West Van, where people routinely buy 5-10 million dollars homes just to tear them down and rebuild.
  13. Especially weird given Vancouverites are notoriously snobby about TH. They're the cool kids of the country......and largely Mariner fans.
  14. Missed field goals and punts that go too far are given a courtesy point for a "really good try". If that point turns out to be the game winner, you get a voucher at Canadian Tire and split the 50/50 raffle with a member of the crowd.
  15. And to really blow your mind, they kicked the FG on 3rd down!!! Crazy, right!
