Just read that Mitch Omer of Hell's Kitchen fame passed away over the weekend. I always enjoy visiting his unique restaurant when I'm visiting the Twin Cities. I hope they are able to keep the spirit of the place alive with Mitch gone, sad news.

Certainly right Van, everyday is Maple Syrup Day, had some with my morning coffee, along with a maple glazed donut and a maple sugar cookie ( it's Christmas). In fact, with the hard times in the oil industry these days, Maple Syrup is keeping the economy afloat, with exports to Japan accounting for approx. 50% of current GDP. In fact, Maple Syrup is the only reason we keep Quebec as part of confederation. I believe it was a question in the last referendum. Edit. Darth Vader is the greatest villan/hero in cinematic history.
