  1. Really? From this perspective, it doesn't really seem that you are.
  2. I know you've been a staunch defender of May in the pen Chief, and I'm not necessarily arguing that, but two questions, 1. Why commit May to the pen now when there are still available, legitimate arms out there for that role, i.e. Bastardo. May makes more sense in the pen if the team had stronger starting pitching and I don't see that as easy to solve as improving the bullpen. 2. Why do you think he's overrated as a starter?
  3. To borrow a phrase from a well known poster around here, the roster management on this team is "mind boggling" at times.
  4. Never stopped them with Leidner... Green is good get for the Gophers, I hope they take the longer road with him. Hoping to see more of Croft next season, hope he puts on some size.
  5. Hmmm, Antonio Bastardo or Buddy Boshers? Close TR........close. http://ak-hdl.buzzfed.com/static/2014-07/18/8/enhanced/webdr08/anigif_enhanced-buzz-8915-1405685252-4.gif
  6. I'm with ya, neither of today's selections are up my alley. Never understood the biscuits and gravy thing, waste of both really. Christmas is getting close however, which means Yorkshire pudding and gravy, oh baby!! Missing lager day makes me sad, although lager is a summer beer for me. Oh well. I'm sure I'll find a way to make it up to myself.....somehow.
  7. As if, I've pretty much lost any hope something like this could possibly happen with this team.
  8. Uhhhh, pretty obvious, duh. http://content.internetvideoarchive.com/content/photos/6849/28769914_.jpg
  9. I guess we'll have to settle for no big moves, instead of dumb moves they try to convince us are big moves. I guess that's progress? Better hope Meyer is ready for the pen next season.
  10. Ha!............Cosmic.
  11. Pastry? Not a Pastry?
  12. We expect more from you Chi...............I am disappoint.
  13. Good day for a Berliner from the German bakery I say.
  14. But what part of "the one who shall not be named" comments even sniffed of "rational". They deserved to be condemned, he is a bigot. There is no rational discussion involving a person like that.
  15. 'Give me your tired, your poor, your huddles masses...................unless they are Muslim"
  16. No, it wasn't the guy who played Wild Bill, that was Keith Carradine, and it was 6 years ago. The main actor play the sheriff in the reenactment, I'm sure in the real show he had some bit part because it wasn't Timothy Olyphant.
  17. Off topic True story, I was in Deadwood a few years back and was pulled from the crowd to take part in the reenactment of Wild Bill's shooting at Saloon 10, starring none other than the guy from the show. I played the bartender, and I had lines and everything ....my kids were petrified I was going to get shot. It was hilarious, but that guy should really move on
  18. I'm pretty sure this is written on the bottom of TR's business card and email signature.
  19. Getting rid of dead wood and not adding more, that's good news.........right?
  20. The fact any American would even consider voting for him explains exactly how ****ed your poor country is.
  21. Love brownies, absolutely love them, but it burns my ass when people insist on putting walnuts in them. What a waste of a good brownie!
  22. All joking aside, I'm sad for America right now, how does it get to this? How on earth is this man still able to run for public office after something like this? It's truly frightening, there needs to be a wide spread, vigorous rejection of what he proposed and the Republican party needs to utterly disavow him as a candidate. If not, see you all up here soon, seriously.
  23. Well, the railroad isn't what it used to be.........wait, that's not what you meant, is it?
  24. Damn, why did I read this before bed....must have melt in mouth shortbread.
