    It seems we have some players playing out of position. Santana should be our DH and our back up catcher in the pen....

    I think getting Buxton to a .750 or so OPS will make a big difference and we do seem to be short a hitter like a .270 with 25+ HR DH. Kepler could improve a little and i think that would be enough for our line up.

    The title of the article should be we value our trade chips here more than others. To say they are not that valuable is wrong as Dozier and Santana are both 3 plus War players. And Santana is also a great mentor for a young pitching staff adding more value for us over what he might offer another team....

    If the Twins call up a starter and one of the AA starters go to AAA would Poppins be ready to finish the year in AA or is that too soon?

    I hope they extend Dozier and choose between Gordon and Polanco next season.

    I hope management gives us till thw 31rst before making any sekking trades. We play Oakland who may trade Gray before his next start against us and some other weak team after that. We should be back to .500 if not above after that. If we get swept in Oakland then all bets are off.

    I would like to see Thad Lavine bring us Darvish from Texas on say a 6 year 150 to 168 million... resign Kintzler to a 2 or 3 year deal in the 6 to 8 million per season. If they do this i would even be fine with another Belisle 1 year 2 million deal. Especially if he keeps pitching like he has the last 5 weeks. I also think it may be smart for Dozier to look into an extention here. 4 year 56 million to 5 year 70 million. He wont do much better as a free agent with no one needing a second baseman unless LA steps in which i doubt. We do need his power and he wont lead off anywhere else.... lastly we could use a right handed bat. I think that can be Garver though.

    Kohl Stewart and Stephan Gonzales were drafted in 2013 i think not 2012. Buxton was our first rounder that year and Berrios came in the supplement first round.

    We have more depth if we keep Colon and option Gibson. If we outright Colon we dont have any veterans to go to if something happens to a starter. We would have to call up a rookie instead of a veteran.

    Id be happy if we added a reliever at this point. Were almost to the point of bringing up our AA pitching prospects and Sledgers has been real good in AAA lately. Im also fine if we trade a few prospects for a controllable starter but i dont want to trade Gordon at this point though.
