I find it incredibly sad that people want the Twins to jerk Buxton around, considering it's mostly been a lost season due to injury. He plays his ass off. He's got a great attitude. Reward that - don't worry about the Twins maybe having to spend more money to keep him if he ever becomes what we hope. The ONLY people that should be worried about that are the Pohlads. And they have all the money in the world to keep him when that time comes around.
I like Garver but he is not someone that stops you from making a trade for JT Realmoto. I would love if they made a deal for him. Anyways, entertaining game with a disappointing finish. But holy overreactions, guys. It's one game. I did not like Molitor's bullpen management. But I'm not worried about any player's performance in the first game of the season.
I'm very optimistic on the Twins. I think they'll win 90 games and nab a Wildcard spot. But the Indians are an elite level team. They don't have a weakness and their pitching is on another level compared to the Twins. I think they'll win 100 games again.
He's had bad spring trainings before, it's meaningless. His best year was 2014 when he had a 2.85 ERA in 66 innings pitched. Coincidentally, he had his worst spring training ever that year, with a 9 ERA.
Pretty sweet deal. Major props to the front office. I really like the depth with Mejia, Gonsalvez and Romero down on the farm. If that’s what they end up doing with Mejia.
I certainly don't have a problem with being optimistic. Maybe I shouldn't tell anyone not to get excited. Me personally, I'm not going to get my hopes up for him. I'm high as hell on Gonsalves and others though.
I like Smalley and think Hawkins is good and will get better. I don't care for anyone else, including Richard. I wish they would at least add a third guy to the booth to spice things up. P.S. Doesn't it seem like Dick and Bert really don't like each other this season?
