    Agreed. I don't understand all the preemptive concern. The Twins are a good road team and they have more talent than the Red Sox. I think the Twins have a good shot at taking the series.

    Lewis is still young. Also I think surrounding him with guys who are similar in age and have similar major league trajectories, but are more consistent hitters (Larnach and Kirilloff) will continue to help him. It seems like the front office is promoting those guys in tandem. Wouldn't surprise me to see all three of them starting in Rochester next year, and then possibly all three of them starting for the Twins the year after.

    I think Garver should stay behind the plate. 1st base will occupied by Kirilloff either next year or the next. I think the Twins will sign Cron to a 1 year deal and then keep groming Kirillof to be the 1st baseman of the future. I do think Garver should get some reps at first as a backup though.

    Does any one know what the Tigers' batting average against the Twins is this season? It's gotta be at least .280. Maybe higher. And they are the worst offense in the AL.

    Well most likely the Twins would start the ALDS with 2 away games, so hopefully their trend of doing well on the road continues into October.
