    I hate to keep arguing this, but he has to take time to get up from the ground and retrieve the ball that's behind him. That's a lot of time that Mercado then uses to hustle to third. Are you saying he couldn't have played it on a hop?

    I know it could be a long shot, but I wonder what the chances of Kirilloff joining the squad is after Pensacola is done with their playoffs. Lots of bench guys day-to-day right now and Twins could open a spot if they put Nick Gordon on the 60 day IL

    I think serious talks need to be had about stretching out Dobnak, Thorpe or Smeltzer into a starter to take Berrios potential playoff spot in the rotation if this continues. I don't know how Rocco could trust Berrios in a big game with the stuff he's shown the past month.

    Berrios had another bad outing, Pensacola lost a heartbreaker, and Cedar Rapids loses their first game in their playoff series. Not the best night for the Twins org

    I know Eddie is a fan favorite, but I don't think we'll see him in a Twins uniform in 2021. I bet they sign him to a 1-year deal this offseason and have Larnach ready to go in left for 2021.

    That pitch by Dyson was definitely a wild pitch. Plus it's also on the pitchers to keep the runners at 2nd close. Not always the catcher's fault with stolen bases.

    Duffey with 8 Ks his last 2 2/3 innings pitched. Pretty good.
