  1. I think the mystery guy is the new number 30 player--probably one of the honorable mentions. He'll replace Graterol.
  2. This one cuts to the chase. Let's put a dollar figure on Marwin's remorse. As it stands now, it's zero.
  3. This is a much needed and overdue article. Thanks for writing it, Nick. It's hard to believe that after all the analysis and guessing and hype that led up to the trading deadline, we end up with damaged goods. What a waste of time!
  4. Rocco's no manager. No baseball manager; human resources maybe; but for a major league baseball team, no way! The dynamic duo done messed up!
  5. Man, it's difficult listening to Rocco speak. It's all platitudes with perfect grammar. And at the end, I'm no more informed than I was before I started listening to him. Man, I miss the straight talking old guys like Gardy and Earl and Francona. Maybe I'll become an Indians fan. The Tigers are too pathetic.
  6. I've never seen 'em play at Target Field. I left the Minneapolis in 1999.
  7. Hey Aero delideliria. I'm a Twins fan living in Japan too. I'm in the Nagoya area. Been here 20 years. How about you?
  8. I don't think Arraez is connected with the Schoop decision. I think he's directly connected to the fate of Adrianza. My guess is either Addrianza gets dfa'd when Cruz comes up, or Arraez gets more work at AAA and when Garver comes back then Arraez replaces Adrianza.
  9. I listened to Baldelli talk about the game. And then I listened to Franconia. There's no doubt who I'd rather play for. Maybe the new guys know what they're doing, but listening to these egghead quant guys talk is downright nauseating. I miss the plain speak of guys like Gardy, and Franconia and Earl Weaver. At least they were funny. I haven't laughed since listening to Gardy talk about "Loose Canon #1 and Loose Canon #2. I guess winning is better than laughing. We'll see what the new guys can do.
  10. I remember when Molitor had two or three years of injuries and fans in Milwaukee and Minnesota were grumbling about his fragility. Well, he's in the HOF now. Sano is still young. Let's wait and see.
  11. Yeah, I'd pick Kubel or Castino. And if I can time travel into the future, I might pick Mr. Sano and his bum leg.
  12. Many complain that the front office isn't doing anything to put a winner on the field in 2019. I'm fine with it. They don't really know what they have in Buxton and Sano, so they are biding there time. And besides, don't dismiss doing nothing. Most damage in sports, in business, in life is caused by doing too much. I think doing nothing is generally underrated!
