    Always seems that getting rid of reliable players and getting unknowns is the Twins MO. No way they should let him go!

    I think a big part of the frustration is lack of information for us. Started with him easing into the year at DH which was disappointing. Let’s be honest, he has to be one of the worst DH players ever. It is one thing that he can’t play CF but to pull a hamstring trying get a double sucks. They have most likely known all along that he is done

    How can they have a top-5 staff and barely playing .500 in the worst division ever. Horrible pathetic ALC!

    Well swinging is one thing and hitting has not been there. Buxton seems to be hurting just by swinging. IL this time for legging out a double?

    Banking on Lewis being healthy for a whole season is also risky.

    He is making peanuts compared to Buxton. Sadly Buxton really didn’t live up to expectations. Maybe 1 or 2 seasons?

    So no big deal for our 2 best players having this type of year? I am going to guess both Carlos and Buxton are not happy and wish they could wake up from this season.

    We have never even been able to dream with this team. Buxton and Correa together should have been a dream come true but has turned into a nightmare.

    I want to see Austin Martin and what he can do at the MLB level. He was projected to come up this year.

    Batting average low 200’s with only 19 HR’s sets a pretty low bar!

    Luckily Cleveland doesn’t seem to want to win the ALC either

    What can we expect with only 2 hitters with an average above .250 and one is Luplow with very few games. 3 on the bench also over .250. Not that .250 is that great either. Not a batter 300 or over. The 3 who have pitched ERA average over 7. What is the fairy tale about turning straw into gold?

    Sounds good but not sure Royce and or ever will be completely healthy. Gotta figure that one out too and not have the situation we have with Buxton.

    We need to see what we have and let him go if he can't improve

    Bring them all up and give them a chance. The offense can't get any worse and may light a fire or motivate the veterans to finally step up. They are too comfortable and what better than a little competition. It will go a long way in determining what they will have in 2024 and perhaps stop them from dumpster diving/signing older kind of washed up/hoping to get better players.

    You would think they have the best of the best medical professionals available to them and have had many opinions. I was under the impression that they did surgery and it did not take His choice seems to be figuring out how to play with pain and if he can be even half as good it would be a win. Maybe it will strengthen by playing? Otherwise sadly it is time to retire. Pretty sure there is some type of insurance, if not he should be financially set for life and can be like Mauer and spend quality time with his kids. There are many other careers available in baseball. I am 100% sure that he feels worse than all of us put together about how his playing time hurts this team. Here is hoping for the best for Bryon.
