How much does it really matter at this point that only one potential starter for the Twins, Scott Diamond, has given up a run so far this ST? Is that a good sign? Or are pitchers usually ahead of hitters this early on?

Can you listen to these games online? I tried a couple local stations but they must block it.

I think you have to buy mlb radio.

mlb.com is carrying it if you have an account

1-0 Twins on a hit, popup lost in sun, walk, sac fly by Escobar.

Man, lots of balls lost in the sun so far. Hope that doesn't become much of an issue for the Twins.

I thought pitchers were usually ahead of hitters this early in ST, but I could have that backwards. Either way, I don't think it matters much at this point. We'll see what happens when the season starts.

You can get Gameday audio on your phone or tablet for about $3 through the At Bat App. Definitely worth every penny.

Just to clarify, that's $3 monthly, or $20 for the season. Definitely some cool bonuses to the app, though -- particularly MLB.tv Game of the Day.

MLB.tv is a great value too - $110-$130 for the season. No Twins video, though, if you are in the blackout area, unless you get a proxy....

It's pretty much meaningless. Pitchers are ahead of batters--they've been in camp longer--and are more focused on getting feel and improving location than on getting batters out. Plus, mostly they're pitching to minor leaguers. ANd some might be working on learning/improving a new pitch.

But I said "pretty much" because the lack of runs is at least a hint that what they're working on is coming along. And if the starters were getting shelled and pulled early, that would be discomfiting.
