Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Radio only today .... except for those of you who are lucky enough to be there! Or have mlb.tv. I think they are showing the home feeds of all games. I'll figure that out at noon. Otherwise ... audio it is ... which might be better so I can actually do some cleaning and taxes and cookie baking while listening to the game.

When I looked at the Rays' site, it only refers to radio. That's why I assumed no TV at all. Makes me think again about mlb.tv.

Getting junk done ... such a great way to spend a Sunday. On the other hand, since most of us are still in the land of sub-zero, inside chores sound pretty good.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted March 2, 2014 Author Posted March 2, 2014 1st inning - Danny Santana singled and stole a base. That was it. In the bottom, Ricky Nolasco threw just 7 pitches. Gave up a double to DeJesus, but that's it.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 So one has to pay to listen? Do they have the Treasure Island Radio Network in Florida? I think that's what the Twins network is called now. If not, you probably have to pay. Around here I can just dig out a radio and listen. From Berardino's tweets, it looks like the Twins are showing good patience at the plate: Mike Berardino @MikeBerardino 16m Alex Cobb lifted before finishing the 2nd. Those battlin' #mntwins wore him out (34 pitches). Sandoval on to face Fryer.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 So one has to pay to listen? If you are listening out of the area, yeah. I'm not sure what a MLB audio-only package is priced at these days, but I used to go that route. At that time it was $14.95 through the season, starting with ST.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Arcia hits a homer? Nice. After being buzzed back a couple of times. #noIntimidation
twinsfanstl Verified Member Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Anyone know twins 2013 total k's/pa & bb/pa vs. Opponents? Be curious to know. Feels like similar pattern through first 3 games. Especially concerning are the k's looking. .m

Don't Feed the Greed Guy Verified Member Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Twins lose 6-3 as Grant Balfour picks up the win. Oswaldo Arcia and Brandon Waring double up on home runs and errors. Other reports indicate that Waring's big fly buzzed the Rays' Tiki Bar in the right center stands. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/index.jsp?gid=2014_03_02_minmlb_tbamlb_1&mode=box&c_id=min
