Cody Christie Twins Daily Contributor Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Baseball will no longer be played at the Metrodome and the State of Minnesota is trying to get some money out of their assets. You can purchase the mound used in all of the most famous games in Twins history. The starting bid is only $250. Check out the information here Where do you think the mound should end up?

The description clearly indicates that this mound was used "since March 2004"... Not much history there, unless you count the Santana years
Ben B Verified Member Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I hope they put the seats up for auction once the Vikings are done. I'd love to get my hands on one, and they should be cheap with how many there are.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 If you follow the auction link, you will see they are also selling the right field baggy.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Also a "Super Sopper Water Picker Upper" from the Dome. And some insulation. Own a piece of history!

The seats are anchred into the cement and all connected on the same base. Each would only have one armrest too if they were to some how cut them apart. Still, I'm trying to figure out which sized socket wrench I need to bring to the last Vikings game in December.

John Bonnes Site Manager Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Bid on the baggy right now is only at $125.
