I don't know if anyone cares but as a person living in Oregon and a big hawks fan I thought it would be cool to have one to start. Should be a great matchup darnold vs maye. Best defense vs best offense super bowl match up. Will drake make and the pats get revenge or will the hawks use home feild advantage and stand tall in week 1. Well find out soon!

At least it was a hip apparently and not a knee. But he Did not appear to look like a man who was going to come back into the game

It's gonna be so funny when the team with a QB emergency that allows the Vikes to unload JJ turns out to be the Seahawks.  Vikes choose between Darnold and McCarthy, and Seattle ends up with both

You never want to see a team lose their QB in week 1 (or before in our case). But at least if it’s going to happen it would happen to the defending champs. Don’t mind it happening to Seattle either 😉

Reminds me on a much smaller scale of the local HS football around here. They removed one of the weeks of preseason training and also nixed a scrimmage. Now the first two weeks are just kids cramping for the whole second half

It’s almost sort of gimmicky to have a rematch in week 1 as the first game. And make the loser go on the road. I guess maybe it’s intriguing?

The Patriots are a pretty clear regression team this year. Their schedule last season was, IIRC hearing on Sirius XM, the easiest for any team since 1983.
