Actually they could do worse and did earlier this year and that was with Buxton in centerfield. If you score one more run a game but give up two more runs per game, the math doesn't work in your favor.

I totally agree I just don't see this outfield ever leveling up beyond "pretty bad" given the options and having to park Larnach in the field rather than DH.
