Shelton emphasized Monday’s MRI is precautionary.

“The imaging is just to see where we're at,” he said. “Everybody wants to go initially to the imaging is, ’Oh my god, something's catastrophically wrong.’ It's just that if he's not recovering like he should be, then we need to diagnostically use everything at our advantage to take a look at it.

“I think until we get the MRI back, then that's when we can have that conversation.”

Translation: Something is catastrophically wrong.

Shoulder stuff is always worrisome. Modern medicine can fix elbows but shoulders seem more problematic.
