glunn Community Moderator Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 "What do Nick Swisher and Michael Jackson have in common?" Wearing one glove, never two?
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Wearing one glove, never two? Pretty much. "They both wear a glove on just one hand, for no apparent reason."
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 Florimon! Love it... That's Baseball... You win games that way!
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 It's good to have baseball back... Last night I had to watch the Wizard of Oz with my wife. I noticed something that I didn't notice before. At the end of the movie... Dorothy says to the Scarecrow. "I think I'll miss you most of all". My wife says "ahh that's nice". And I'm thinking... She just said that in front of the Tin Man and Lion!!! What a horrible little child!!! Probably broke the Tin Mans new heart right there. The wicked witch was right about her all along. I am always thankful that my wife does not have any flying monkeys. Florimon should be tonight's MVP -- this kid is giving his all and making great plays.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2013 Author Posted July 20, 2013 She made up for it, though, by not cursing out the Good Witch who tells her "oh, you could have gone home any time, just by clicking your heels." And if she would have simply told her to click them when she pulled them off the dead house crushed witches feet. Dark Side of the Moon would have been much shorter!!!

ashbury Verified Member Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Nice game. Overmatched by the starter, but they hung in and kept it close, so that better things could come in the late innings.
