It is a LOOOOOONG way to the end of the season, now I could say some thing like, - Mauch had teams do well and fall on their faces at the end of the season -  but if this is that, I love baseball and I will enjoy what ever they deliver.

You have to wonder if the Twins seeing so many lefties right away has actually helped them.  Many times, last year, we would just see one lefty every once in a while, so it would be such a struggle.  By seeing them all at once, the RH batters are getting more AB's than usual and thus getting locked in.  Just a thought.
